MOVEMBER THROWDOWN

Saturday 26th Nov 2022 @ Crossfit505 Burpengary

 

Calling all Mo-Bro's and Mo-Sister's to our Ultimate Pairs Crossfit Event! We are partnering with Movember and associated charities to raise funds for Men's Health Awareness.

Format:

MM and FF Pairs Competition

Rx'd and Scaled Divisions (movement standards to be released prior to event)

Registration: $120 per pair (+ processing fee) closes on 11th November.

Workouts/schedule:

4 x workouts - to be released closer to competition date.

Prizes:

Overall Rx'd and Scaled Pairs 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will receive awesome prize packs!

Fundraising:

We are proudly partnering with Movember to raise money for Men's Health Awareness in the month of November! 

Movember Throwdown Shirts are available to purchase when your register your pair for this event - a portion of the shirt profits will be donated to Movember Men's Health charities! Shirts will be available for pick up on the day of the event.

Policies:

REFUNDS -  Cancellations of registration will not be refunded - substitutions of pair members or divisions are advised.

SUBSTITUTES - Pair member/division changes can be made until 24th November on a case-by-case basis, however there will be no refunds for cancellations.

WAIVER - All athletes must complete the Movember Throwdown waiver prior to competing. Please have all team members complete this prior to attending and competing. 

COVID-19 - The event organisers will be following the QLD Governments Industry Safe Checklist and Guidelines. Please do not attend the event if you are feeling unwell.

FAQ's:

What should I bring?

Additional to all of your regular gear that you would need to compete with (eg: skipping rope, wrist wraps, towel, food etc), you are welcome to bring chairs and gazebo's. These can be set up in the sectioned off area of our car park (see site map).

Will there be food/drinks at the event?

Yes! Stay tuned on our Facebook page for updates on our Vendors. Any additional food/beverage requirements are your own responsibility. 

Where do I park?

See the site map for the best places to park for the event. There will be no parking available in the gym complex, but there is plenty of parking at the local Supermarket across the road. Parking in any other designated areas outside of our recommendations will run the risk of being towed.
