About This Competition
Introducing our First Annual MVMNT Games. This event will be a partner throwdown, with teams of two, Male/Male or Female/Female partners. No mixed genders.
MVMNT Games are brought to you by our sponsors the Oxnard|MVMNT Hero Fund, Proven Active Apparael, and 1st Phorm.
There will be 3 different divisions:
Rx, Fitness & "Fun"
There will be 4 WODs with 5 scores.
- CASH PRIZES are up for grabs for the Rx and Fitness winners, with goodie bags for ALL podium finishers of each division. (total prize pool of $2500)
- CASH PAYOUTS - Rx Division (equal for male and female) 1st place - $500 2nd place - $250 3rd place - $100
- Fitness Division TBD / Fun Division Raffles
- Raffle prizes available for all of our non-poduim finishers and as well as Fun division.
- Four WOD events, with total of five scores.
- Rx - These will be elite athletes, can perform high level gymnastics, and can move weight for snatch and clean and jerk.
- Fitness - These will be athletes who are on the verge of high level gymnastics, but can do majority of skills like double unders, toes to bar, pull ups, chest to bar, handstand holds, etc. They are able to move weights in clean and jerk and snatch women ~95lbs //men ~ 135lbs
- Fun - These will be athletes who are newer to the CrossFit world, they don't quite have Rx movements like pull ups, toes to bar, high box jumps, double unders, etc. They are new to a barbel and can move weights for clean and jerk and snatch women ~65lbs // men ~95lbs
Vendor tables, food/drink tables and media will be on site.

All sales final, no Refunds will be given. You may however transfer your registration to another team, within FIVE DAYS of competition date.

Workouts
For Time: 2.5 Mile Run
- 3,2,1 Go.. Both Athletes must start running 3 loops together (800mtr), each loop they will pass a checkpoint, after 3 loops Athlete 1 is going to rest and A2 will continue running 1 final loop, when Athlete 1 finishes the loop they will tag Athlete 2 to do one last loop.
The Time will finish when Athete 2 finishes the last loop and crosses the finish line.
This Work out is for all Divisions.

GO one ahtlete will hang while the other does 30 double unders. Once 30 have been completed both will move to the bar for 6 snatches, switching as desired. continue this under the ladder has been completed, or the 1:30 expires.
Score will be heviest ladder completed.
tiebreak will be reps completed in each rung, then time for previous rung.

3...2...1... GO Partner A will start with 18 Box Jump overs, both feet must touch the top of the box, no other part of the body can. Then they will do 9 G2O with 2x50/35# DBs. Then they will go to the pull up bar for 18 Toes to Bar. Then they will tag their partner to complete the next piece of work. 9 BJO / 18 G2O 2x50/35# DBs / and 9 Toes to Bar. Athlete A will then be tagged and start the next piece of work. This pattern continues until the final 9 bar muscle ups is completed.
For Max Calorie Row, Partners Will Swap Every 90 Seconds

Every 90 seconds an athlete will do 30 wall ball shots and in the remaining time max calories on the rower.
Each athlete will do 3 sets, so you will work 1:30 and then rest 1:30. (9 min of work)

At 11:00 both athletes will start 5 Rounds of:
10 Burpees over the bar + 1 Round of DT 155/105 lbs
There is no requirements on how the work must be split up, you will work in a YOU GO, I GO fashion where one partner is working while the other is resting.
The time will be when you complete the 5th round of DT with a 9 min CAP.
