WA Affiliate Cup 2024
About This Competition
For the second year WA Affiliate Cup is BACK on the 12-13th of October 🏆
A CrossFit Licensed Event… the WA Affiliate Cup brings the WA CrossFit Affiliates together to battle it out and crown WA’s Fittest Affiliate.
Key details:
- Teams of 4 (MM/FF)
- You MUST be from a registered CrossFit Affiliate gym.
- ALL members of the team MUST be members or coaches of that Affiliate (no super teams).
- We understand some people may train or coach at multiple gyms… pick one.
- Each Affiliate will be able to enter a limit of 6 teams total spread across ALL divisions.
- The team name MUST represent the affiliate they are from (no stupid names) ie:
-Injustice Gold Injustice Crossfit
-Two guys, Two Girls, One Cup - Divisions: BEG/INT/RX/MASTERS
- Claremont Showgrounds
The BIGGEST weekend on the WA CrossFit calendar will once again be topped off with the WA Affiliate Summit with Ed and Lily from CrossFit Australia 🇦🇺
Invitations are going out to all WA CrossFit Gyms (limit of 6 teams per gym).
Get your teams together… Registrations open Sunday the 15th of July.

Refund Policy for WA Affiliate Cup (WAAC) Ticket Sales (Non-Refundable):
We appreciate your interest in the WAAC and. Please be advised that all ticket sales are non-refundable. Once a ticket is purchased, it cannot be refunded for any reason, including but not limited to the following:
Change of Plans:
Whether due to a scheduling conflict, personal circumstances, or any other reason, we are unable to accommodate requests for refunds or ticket exchanges.
Event Postponement:
In the unlikely event that the WAAC is postponed, we will not be able to offer refunds. However, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate any changes to the event and provide relevant updates through our official channels.
Ticket Transfer:
If you are unable to attend the event, you may transfer your ticket to another individual. However, it is your responsibility to arrange the transfer and notify us of the change in ticket holder information.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, but due to the nature of event planning and logistical considerations, we cannot offer refunds. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
Please make sure to carefully review your ticket selection and the event details before completing your purchase. We recommend contacting our customer support team if you have any questions or concerns prior to finalising your transaction.
Our policy on substitutes:
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise and that team members may not be able to compete. Due to the nature of event planning and logistical considerations, we can accommodate substitutions until the 20th of September 2024.

Workouts
80 Clean and Jerks for time.
8 min time cap.
RX - 90kg/60kg - 50 Double Unders
INT/MAST - 70kg/45kg - 30 Double Unders
BEG - 50kg/35kg - 50 Single Skips
Females start at one end of the floor with a barbell.
Males start at the other end of the floor with a barbell.
The team must complete a total of 80 reps of power clean and jerks, with MM and FF advancing towards each other every five reps.
When the two pairs meet, they must complete the remaining five reps in the adjacent sections.
In this way, the two pairs don't need to complete 40 reps (eg. males could complete 35 reps and females 45 reps).
Athlete One will begin their set of unbroken clean and jerks.
Once the set is broken, athlete one must complete their set up DUs.
Once the DU's are completed, athlete two will begin their set of clean and jerks. Continue in this fasion until the 80 total reps have been completed.
This event is scored for time with an 8 minute time cap.

5min - Male Pair to find Max Clean
into (no break)
5min - Female Pair to find Max Clean
Male pair may start with a preloaded bar and will have a 5 minute window to take as many attempts as they like to establish their max clean.
Lifting may happen anytime during the 5 minutes, but the lift MUST be completed before the 5 min time cap is reached.
At the end of the 5 minute window they will clear the platform and the female pair will begin their max clean attempts within their 5 minute window.
Only the athlete lifting may be on the platform. Only the pair lifting may change weights of the bar on the platform.
The score will be the combined total of the heaviest lift of each athlete.
