Raise the Bar
About This Competition
Raise the Bar is our annual partner competition and celebration of another year growing stronger together as a gym family. It’s more than just a workout — it’s our anniversary event, marking the incredible community we’ve built through fitness, friendship, and showing up for each other.
This year, we’re also raising the bar for a bigger purpose. All proceeds from the event will benefit Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), a nonprofit that empowers young athletes through faith-based mentorship, leadership, and community outreach.
Whether you’re here to throw down, cheer on your people, or support the cause, this event is a chance to move with purpose, celebrate how far we’ve come, and give back to the next generation.

Workouts
On a 12 min clock:
15/12 cal row
into 2 front squats + 1 shoulder to overhead (from the rack)
Partner 1 will go first and then partner 2 will make their attempt. Repeat for twelve minutes to find their heaviest combined weight.
On a 7:00 clock, complete:
4 rounds (2 rounds each partner)
150m Run
10 Single Dumbbell Box Step Overs (50/35)(24/20)
In the remaining time, accumulate as many Burpee Box Jump Overs as possible. (only one partner works at a time.)
Score will be time when the 4 rounds are completed.*
*For every BBJO completed, subtract 0:03 from time of when 4 rounds were completed.
**Partners must complete a hand tag for every time they switch
***The nonworking partner must remain OFF the mats at all times.
On a 7:00 clock, complete:
4 rounds (2 rounds each partner)
150m Run
10 Single Dumbbell Box Step Overs (Athlete choice on dumbbell weight and box height)
In the remaining time, accumulate as many Burpee Box Jump Overs (can be updowns instead of burpees and step overs or step us) as possible. (only one partner works at a time.)
Score will be time when the 4 rounds are completed.*
*For every BBJO completed, subtract 0:03 from time of when 4 rounds were completed.
**Partners must complete a hand tag for every time they switch
***The nonworking partner must remain OFF the mats at all times.
For time:

10 WallBalls (20/14)
20 Double Unders
10-8-6-4-2
Power Snatches (increasing in weight each time you return to the barbell)
Partner 1 moves through 2 rounds of 10 WB and 20 DU and completes 10 Power Snatches.
Then tag partner 2 in to complete 2 rounds of 10 WB and 20 DU before completing 8 power snatches at a heavier weight for the set. Keep going until all Power Snatches are complete (alternating partners each round and progressing in weight each set of power snatches.)

Men's weight: 75-95-95-115-135
Women's weight: 65-75-75-85-95
For time:
2 rounds
10 WallBalls (athlete choice)
40 Single Unders
10-8-6-4-2
Power Snatches (weight on barbell stays same for all reps)
Partner 1 moves through 2 rounds of 10 WB and 40 Single Unders and completes 10 Power Snatches.
Then tag partner 2 in to complete 2 rounds of 10 WB and 40 Single Unders before completing 8 power snatches at the same weight for the set. Keep going until all Power Snatches are complete (alternating partners each round.)

Men's weight: Athlete choice, barbell weight remains the same for all Power Snatches
Women's weight: Athlete choice, barbell weight remains the same for all Power Snatches
