About This Competition

THE BACK LOT BOUT IS BACK!

Are you ready for a fun and competitive day at one of the best local competitions around?!

UnCharted CrossFit is excited to announce we will be hosting our annual "Back Lot Bout", a four person, co-ed team competition on Saturday, June 22nd.​​

We pride ourselves on creating one of the best competition environments by pulling out all the stops for our competing athletes. We have a huge competition space, a spacious “Back Lot” used for outdoor workouts, a large, designated warm-up area with proper equipment, top of the line vendors and prize packages as well as running an on-time event! You will want you and your teammates to be part of this!

Teams will be comprised of two women and two men featuring RX, INTERMEDIATE, and SCALED divisions.

Registration cost is $335 per team and includes individual custom swag!

Please note that registration is non- refundable.

Teams will be guaranteed three workouts, a floater workout, and a championship workout for top teams in all divisions.

Teaser workouts will be released a couple of weeks out, but we will save one or two for the day of!

Prizes will be awarded to the top teams in each division.​

Workouts

WORKOUT 1

6 Rounds of Every Minute 

  • Each member of the team will be on 1 of the 4 machines and remain on that machine for all intervals. 
  • Must complete the set number of calories within the working minute to continue to the next minute
  • :10 between working minutes to reset monitor on machine
  • Any athlete that completes all 6 rounds will earn a 2-minute bonus round to accumulate as many calories as possible. 
  • Score is total team calories accumulated across all rounds.

  • Each round add 10 reps to all barbell movements
  • Teams will have 1 male barbell and 1 female barbell. Teams will need to change their own barbell weight. 
  • During barbell movements, one athlete will complete reps while another athlete performs a static barbell hold. During deadlifts this is a static hold at the top of the deadlift. During lunges this is a front rack hold. During shoulder to overhead this is an overhead hold. Reps will only be counted while the static hold is being performed. If a male athlete is performing reps then a female athlete is performing the static hold and vice versa. Two athletes will be resting during barbell movements. Split barbell reps as desired.
