The Predator Series Same Sex 4's - Rx Throwdown 2023
About This Competition
First of all, thank you for being part of our first throwdown of 2023! It’s shaping up to be an epic weekend of competition.
We hope you are excited as we are to get your day of competing underway so here’s all the important information you will need.
Workouts:
All of the workouts have now been released on our Facebook and Instagram accounts, as well as Competition Corner, so make sure you check them out - any questions, note them down and bring them on the day. We’ll have a WOD briefing before each workout.
Check in time and logistics:
As you have already registered online and filled out your team waivers there is no need to check in when you arrive. Just make sure you're with us in plenty of time to warm up before your first WOD! There will be a warm up marquee outside - usual warm up etiquette required, and please ensure that you're standing by the holding area 5 minutes before your heat time for each WOD. There will be an athlete briefing for WOD 1 at 9:00am, and the first heat will be on at 9:30am. The heat times for WOD 1 are on Competition Corner! Briefings for the following WODs will be announced as we go.
Parking:
There will be plenty of space around the industrial park. Naturally, we encourage you to share lifts where possible and be mindful of the other units around, as some will still be operating over the weekend.

Food, drink and other items available:
We will have water, Noccos, protein shakes, protein bars and Pots of Gold available to buy on the day, as well as The Coffee Cube supplying the hot beverages. There is a water fountain too - so be sure to bring your bottles.
CrossFit Cheltenham clothing will be for sale so you can get kitted out, as well as tape and chalk should you need supplies.
Leaderboard and WOD timings:
We'll be updating the leaderboard throughout the day and please note that you will be reshuffled with new heats and lanes for WOD 2 and WOD 3 based on where you're sitting overall.
On Saturday 4th February - Scaled category
WOD 1: 9:30am-11:15am
WOD 2: 11:45am-1:35pm
WOD 3: 2:15pm-3:47pm
Podiums from 4pm.
You'll be able to see the leaderboard and heat times on Competition Corner.
On Sunday 5th February - RX category
WOD 1: 9:30am-10:56am
WOD 2: 11:30am-12:56pm
WOD 3: 1:45pm-3:01pm
Podiums from 3:15pm.
You'll be able to see the leaderboard and heat times on Competition Corner.
Photos and social media:
We will be taking photos on the day, which will be released around a week after the competition. We will also be posting on Instagram and Facebook throughout the day! If you post anything about the comp be sure to tag @thepredatorseries and hashtag #thepredatorseries4s so that we can repost!
Supporters, including dogs on leads are very welcome to come and cheer you on!

10 Minutes for all team members to establish a max weight on the following complex:

1 Hang clean
1 Front squat
1 STOH
On a 15:00 clock, complete the following:
