About This Competition
The Granite Games Throwdown gives athletes new to competition an opportunity to challenge themselves and have a blast doing it!
Our 2-person, same gender team setup allows you to step out onto the competition floor with your best lifting buddy to experience the best of both worlds: all the fun of competition, without that nerve-wracking feeling of going it alone!
Pick your division…
Scaled: For those who are new to competing, share a common goal of functional fitness, and are working toward mastering their skills
Intermediate: The perfect fit for athletes who love the thrill of competition and have a passion for functional fitness, but who don’t typically Rx daily workouts and may not have yet mastered all movements.

To set you up for success when you arrive onsite, here’s what you need to know:
Check- In - All athletes must check in at 8 am.
Where Am I Going? – Check-in occurs at the front of the gym.
Parking – There's parking available in front of the gym, and extra parking in the rear of the gym.
Come Prepared – You’ll need to provide a valid ID to complete check-in. You'll also want to bring water, food, and supplements.
No Take-Backs – Life happens—we totally get that. But please be aware that if you cannot participate in the weekend’s events, we cannot offer a refund for any reason.
Trading Places – You can substitute an athlete up until registration closes on Saturday, February 10th. Please note they will receive the tee/tank ordered by the original participant.

15 Minute AMRAP
- 20 hang cleans
- 20 wall balls
- 20 deadlifts
- 20 wall balls Reps may divided up however you'd like. All division throw to a 9 ft. target.
Load
- Female Scaled 65 lb. barbell 10 lb. wall ball
- Men Scaled 95 lb. barbell 14 lb. wall ball
- Female Intermediate 75 lb. barbell 14 lb. wall ball
- Men Intermediate 115 lb. barbell 20 lb. wall ball
15 Minute AMRAP
- 250 meter row
- 10 burpees over rower
Partner 1 completes a full round then Partner 2 completes a full round
