About This Competition
Chaos Fitness presents THE GAUNTLET 2.0. This is our annual Spring team competition. This event is a classic CrossFit style event. Male and female athletes will both have Scaled, and Rx divisions. Athletes will compete in 4 WODs. In addition there will be two WODs for anyone competing or spectating to take part in with prizes ranging from weightlifting bars, NO BULL gift bag, and a ton more prizes.
REGISTRATION FEE: 200.00 per team
Registration fee includes t-shirt. We are ONLY taking 40 teams, so you better sign up soon!
EQUIPMENT ALLOWED:
Q: What equipment can be worn?
A: Gloves, wrist wraps, belt, elbow/knee sleeves, "lifter" shoes.
Q: Can I wear deadlift straps? (anything that wraps around the bar that reduces a need to grip)
A: No, deadlift straps are NOT allowed.
Q: Will there be prizes?
A: Last comp we handed out over 2k in prizes. We love making this comp the best in town and the best around.

STANDARDS:
-Snatch and Hang Snatch may be full or power
-Clean and Hang Clean may be full or power
-Overhead Squat and Front Squat are completed with full extension in the hip and knees
-Complex means all three reps will be completed without letting go of your barbell
-Your team has 16:00 minutes total. You can split this time up however you wish. If Partner #1 takes 10:00 minutes, then Partner #2 only has 6:00 minutes. However, once Athlete #2 begins, Athelete #1 is not allowed any more attempts. Partner #1 will be doing the Snatch Complex. Partner #2 will be doing the Clean Complex.
