About This Competition

  • ELFIT Strongman is back in its 4th edition and will be held on 14,15 & 16 November at the New Capital Sports city as part of ELFIT Sports & Fitness Games 12th edition.

ELFIT Sports & Fitness Games is not just an event, it’s the biggest multi-sports festival in Egypt & the MENA region, featuring more than 10 different competitions & sports including ELFIT Championship, the biggest competition in the region.

DIVISIONS:

  • Men Open
  • Men U-110kg 
  • Men U-95kg 
  • Men U-80kg

COMPETITION DETAILS:

  • Athletes will have to do 4-6 tests over the course of 2 days.
  • Top 2-4 athletes from each division qualifies to the final event
  • All workouts will be announced by mid October
  • Any division with less than 5 athletes registered will be canceled 

UPDATED TIMELINE:

Thursday 14 Nov.:

  • 16:00 - 19:00 Login & Weight Scale & Athletes Photoshoot

Friday 15 Nov.:

  • 9:00-9:30 Late login (No photoshoot)
  • 10:00 - 17:00 Competition Day 1

Saturday 16 Nov.:

  • 10:00 - 16:00 Competition Day 2
  • 17:00 - 18:00 Awards Ceremony

REGISTRATION:

  • Platform: All Athletes registration are via Competition Corner
  • Early Bird Registration: 25 September - 15 October
  • Normal Registration: 16 October - 7 November
  • Registration Deadline: registration will close on 7 November 2024, or upon reaching full capacity
  • Capacity: Each division will have a maximum capacity of 8 athletes
  • Policy: Registration is on a first come first serve base

REGISTRATION BENEFITS:

  • 1x Athlete participation spot
  • 1x Official ELFIT Strongman T-shirt
  • 1x ELFIT Games Weekend entry ticket for each athlete to use for themselves (Coaches, Family & Friends will have to purchase a spectator ticket)

SCORING:

  • Athletes will complete multiple tests throughout the 2 days.
  • In each division athletes will be ranked based on their performance against other athletes’ scores in each test.
  • Points will be awarded based on placement in a test 1 point for first place, 2 points for second place and so on, Lower points wins.
  • only the top 2-4 athletes in each division will qualify to the final event
  • The total points will be ranked in the overall ranking list and the winner will be the athlete that has accumulated the fewest points after all tests have been completed.
  • In Case of a tie in the final in the total number of points, the tie breaker will be the final test 
  • In Case of a tie in the semi final in the total number of points, the tie breaker will be the athlete that finished first or in high ranks more

PRIZES:

The Top 3 winners in Men Open division will get medals in addition to the following monetary prizes:

  • First Place: 6,000 EGP
  • Second Place: 4,000 EGP
  • Third Place: 2,000 EGP

The Top 3 winners in the other 4 divisions will get medals in addition to the following monetary prizes:

  • First Place: 2,500 EGP
  • Second Place: 2,000 EGP
  • Third Place: 1,500 EGP

SPECTATORS:

  • Coaches, families & friends will have to purchase ELFIT Sports & Fitness Games spectator ticket to enter the event

Workout Flow:

This workout begins with the athlete standing behind the shield. At the call of "3, 2, 1 ... go," the athlete will carry the shield and start moving, the athlete will keep walking with the shield until the time is over.

The score is the total distance achieved within the 90secs time cap

This workout begins with the athlete setting behind the line. At the call of "3, 2, 1 ... go," the athlete will start pulling the sled from a 15m distance.

The Score is the total time taken to pull the sled to the start line

STONE LIFT TO RACK

Load 4 stones to platform

Time Cap: 2 Min.

Workout Flow:

This workout begins with the athlete standing behind the line. At the call of "3, 2, 1 ... go," the athlete will lift the first stone and load it on the platform, then he/she will do the same thing with the 2nd, 3rd, and fourth stone.

The score is the total time taken to load the 4 stones on the platform
