About This Competition
Swolemates is our annual in-house partner competition and this year is our 9th year holding this fan favorite comp! This is a time of camaraderie and grit and commemorates the founding of Swift River CrossFit which was 2/14/2015.
Divisions & Partner Rules
Three Divisions:
- RX
- Scaled
- Masters 55+
Partner Pairing: Teams can be M/M, F/F, or M/F

Workouts
Floater – “Bike Patrol”
For Time (1 Round):
• Partners will complete a combined 2 miles on the Echo Bike
• Bike does NOT reset between partners
Flow:
• Partner 1 bikes until reaching 1 mile
• Immediately dismounts and completes 5 laser pistol shots
• Partner 2 begins biking as soon as Partner 1 starts shooting
• Partner 2 bikes until total distance reaches 2 miles
• Immediately dismounts and completes 5 laser pistol shots
Standards:
• Athletes must begin shooting immediately after getting off the bike
• Judge may enforce a 5-second countdown to start shooting
Penalty:
• Each shot outside the dark center circle = +10 seconds added to total time
Score =
• Total time to reach 2 miles + all shooting penalties
Part A – For Time (4:00 Cap)
Partners each complete 1 full shuttle

• 6 lines evenly spaced (~80 ft total)
• Line 1 = Start Line
• Bags start on:
• Light → Line 6 (furthest)
• Medium → Line 5
• Heavy → Line 4

Forward Work:
Light bag → Line 6 → bring to Line 1Medium bag → Line 5 → bring to Line 2Heavy bag → Line 4 → bring to Line 3 • Must clearly touch Line 3
Return Work:
Heavy → back to Line 4Medium → back to Line 5Light → back to Line 6
➡️ Return to Line 1 and tag partner
➡️ Partner 2 repeats full sequence

• No partner assistance
• Bags may be carried or rolled
• All bags must be reset before tag
• Score = Time
• If not finished → score = 4:00

• RX Men: 75 / 100 / 150
• RX Women + Scaled Men: 50 / 75 / 100
• Scaled Women: 35 / 50 / 75

Part B – Max Reps (4:00 Window)
Unbroken Bench Press
• Each partner gets 1 attempt only
• Teams have 4 minutes total to complete both attempts
Weights:
• RX Men: 135
• RX Women + Scaled Men: 85
• Scaled Women: 65

Standards:
• Unbroken = no re-rack during the set
• Pause at lockout is allowed
• If the bar is re-racked → set is over
➡️ Score = Total combined reps from both partners
RX: 100 Cal Row, 100 T2B
Scaled: 75 Cal Row, 75 hanging knee raises
Split between partners however they like
20 min time cap
4 rounds for time of:
20 burpees
21 alternating db snatches
12 double db thruster
All movement split however they'd like
Rx: 35#, 50#
Scaled: 20#, 35#
12 min time cap
