The Assault Bike competition is a high-intensity cardio event that challenges athletes' endurance and power. Participants aim to complete a 500-meter distance on the Assault Bike, a stationary exercise bike with air resistance, in the shortest possible time.
The rules:
The objective is to cover a distance of 500 meters in the shortest possible time. Participants push themselves to their limits, generating power and maintaining a high cadence to achieve their fastest speed on the bike. The score is recorded based on the time it takes for an individual participant to complete the 500-meter distance.
The ball throw showcases the strength and technique of athletes as they hurl a heavy ball.
The rules:
Starting Position: At the beginning of each attempt, the athlete positions themselves inside a throwing circle. The athlete must remain inside the circle throughout the throw. The athlete gets 3x attempts to achieve the longest throw.
Techniques: Participants holds the ball with both hands, begin by facing away from the direction of the throw and perform a series of rotations, known as the wind-up, to build momentum and generate centrifugal force.
Scoring: After each throw, officials measure the distance from the inside edge of the throwing circle to the point of impact made by the ball. The longest throw from all the attempts by each athlete is recorded as their official mark.
The long jump showcases athletes' abilities to leap from a takeoff point on the track as far as possible.
The Rules:
Starting Position: The athlete positions themselves behind a designated takeoff spot. Athletes must take off from behind the spot to ensure their jump is legal.
Attempt Limits: Participants may have 3 attempts to achieve their best jump to refine their technique and strive for their optimal performance.
The objective of the competition is to hang from a bar for as long as possible without any support from the ground.
The rules:
Starting Position: All participants begin the competition by gripping the bar with an overhand grip (palms facing away) or an underhand grip (palms facing towards the participant) and hanging freely with arms fully extended.
A timer is used to measure the duration of the hang. An official oversees the competition to ensure fairness and accuracy in timekeeping.
Techniques: Participants are allowed to use various grip techniques, such as a regular grip, mixed grip (one hand overhand, one hand underhand), or a thumbless grip (also known as a false grip), depending on their preference and comfort. However, the use of straps, gloves, or any other aids to enhance grip strength is generally prohibited.
Duration: The competition continues until participants can no longer maintain a dead hang position. Once a participant's grip is released from the bar, their time is recorded, and they are considered eliminated from the competition.
The Farmers Carry is a challenging strength and endurance event that tests an athlete's ability to carry heavy weights over a designated distance. In this event, participants carry weights in each hand and aim to complete the course in the shortest possible time.
The rules:
The objective of the Farmers Carry competition is to complete the course while carrying the weights in the shortest possible time. Participants push themselves to their limits, demonstrating strength, endurance, and mental toughness as they cover the distance with heavy loads.
The rowing competition is a dynamic and physically demanding sport that showcases athletes' strength, endurance, and technique. Participants complete a distance of 500 meters on a rowing machine as quickly as possible.
The rules:
The objective is to cover a distance of 500 meters in the shortest possible time. Participants push themselves to their physical limits, generating power and endurance to achieve their fastest speed. The score is recorded based on the time it takes for an individual participant to complete the 500-meter distance.
Participants use a SkiErg machine, which mimics the upper body movements of skiing, to compete in a race to cover a distance of 500 meters in the shortest possible time.
The rules:
The objective of the SkiErg competition is to cover a distance of 500 meters in the shortest possible time. Participants push themselves to their limits, generating power and endurance to achieve their fastest speed. The score is based on time it takes to complete 500m.
The Sled Push & Pull is a challenging strength and power event that involves pushing and pulling a weighted sled over a distance.
The rules:
Starting Position: In the pushing portion of the event, athletes position themselves behind the sled with their hands on the handles. They are required to push the sled forward to the end of the track. Upon reaching the end of the track, athletes will pull the sled toward them returning to the starting position to finish the course.
Weights: The weight loaded onto the sled vary depending on the division of the athletes.
Scoring: The scoring system is based on the time taken to complete the course.
The track sprint is an electrifying and fast-paced event that showcases athletes' speed and power over a short distance on a track. Participants compete in a race, typically 100 meters or 200 meters, with the goal of completing the course in the fastest time possible.
The rules:
