Bricktown Throwdown 2021!

Bricktown Throwdown is a two day TEAM trio competition July 10th and 11th.  Competitors will be throwing down in the heart of Bricktown at the Scissortail Park. 

[ Divisions: Pro, Amateur, Scaled, Generations ]

All divisions consist of teams of 3, same sex. *Generations teams will have one teammate from each “generation”. (30’s 40’s & 50’s).

Workouts

All three athletes will start on the starting mat.  At the sound of "3-2-1-Go" Athlete 1 will move to a barbell and complete 18 S2OH, 18 burpees to bar (pullup bar) and 18 T2B.  After the round of 18 is completed, athlete 2 will enter the floor and BOTH athlete 1&2 will complete 15 SYNCHRONIZED S2OH, 15 SYNCHRONIZED Burpees to Bar, and 15 SYNCHRONIZED Pullups.  Once the round of 15 is completed, Athlete 1 will exit the floor and Athlete 3 will enter.  Athletes 2&3 will then complete 12 Synchro  S2OH, 12 Synchro Burpees to Bar, and 12 Synchro C2B.  After the round of 12 is complete, athlete 2 will exit the floor and Athlete 3 will do the last round of 9 solo.  It will include 9 S2OH, 9 Burpees to Bar, and 9 Bar MUs.  
The time stops once the 3rd athlete has completed all reps and moved to the finishing mat.

RX Men/Women and Gen Men: T2B(18) - Pullups(15) - C2B(12) - BMUs(9)

12 Minute Time Cap

All three athletes will start on the starting mat.  At the sound of "3-2-1-Go" all three athletes will move to the center line with one athlete continuing out to the Devil's Press Station.  They will begin the set of 25 Devil's Presses, switching as needed with the other 2 athletes by tagging behind the center line.  After the set of 25 Devil's Presses are complete, the team will move on to 25 HSPUs, again, switching out as needed by tagging behind the center line.  Once the team finishes all of the HSPU ONE ATHLETE WILL EXIT THE FLOOR and the other 2 athletes will continue with the set of 20 Devil's Presses and 20 HSPUs, switching as needed behind the center line in the same fashion as before.  After the 20 HSPUs are completed, one of the two athletes will exit the floor and the lone remaining athlete will complete all 15 Devil's Presses and 15 HSPUs solo.  The time stops once the final athlete has completed all reps and moved to the "starting mat" (finishing mat in this case).

-Devils Presses- (25-20-15 for all divisions)

All three athletes will start on the starting mat.  At the sound of "3-2-1-Go" one athlete will move to the ski erg and one athlete will move to the sandbag.  The rep scheme on this workout is 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 Sandbag Cleans with a Hill Sprint (25m up, 25, down) between each set.  ONCE AN ATHLETE BEGINS A SET OF SANDBAG CLEANS THEY MUST FINISH THAT ENTIRE SET AND THE FOLLOWING HILL SPRINT.  Athletes may switch off between the sets as they wish and may switch off on the ski erg however they see fit.  The time for score 1 will stop once the final athlete returns back to the "starting mat" after their last hill sprint BUT THE TEAM WILL STILL BE ALLOWED TO ACCUMULATE SKI CALS till the 12min CAP.  


-Sandbag Weight- 
Pro & RX Men: 150 lbs
RX Women: 100 lbs
Generations & Scaled Men: 100 lbs
Generations $ Scaled Women: 75 lbs

Score: Sum of each athletes highest completed lift
CAP: 50s window to lift, 10s transition time


All three athletes will enter the floor and have 50s total for each athlete to complete a successful clean and jerk.  Only 1 athlete is allowed on the platform while in the process of a lift.  Athletes are not allowed to move to the next station until the 10s transition time.  If 1 athlete is not able to complete a successful clean and jerk in the 50s window that athlete will not be able to move on to the next station but the other two athletes may keep progressing through the ladder.

All three athletes will start in front of their "platform" with the Med Ball on the platform.  At the sound of "3-2-1-Go" all three athletes will pick up their ball and they will complete 30 synchronized step-ups.  After the step ups are completed, balls will be placed back on the platform and Athlete One will go out on a 700m run.  When they return the team will then complete 20 synchronized step ups (holding Med Balls) and Athlete Two will go out on the 700m run.  Then the team will complete 10 synchronized step ups and Athlete Three will run the final 700.  Time stops once the final athlete has finished the 700m run. 


*You are NOT running with the Med Ball
Platform Height: 22"
All Men: 30# Med Balls
All Women: 20# Med Balls

One athlete will start on the rower and the other two athletes will begin on the starting mat (opposite end of the floor as the rower).  At the sounds of "3-2-1 Go" the athlete on the rower will begin rowing and one of the other two athletes will begin a 40' H Walk (traveling toward the rower).  Once the HS Walk is completed, athletes will switch and the partner that just got off the rower will HS walk 40' back to the starting mat to switch with the 3rd Athlete.  The workout will continue in this fashion with one athlete HS walking down to relieve the rower, who then HS walks back to switch out at the starting mat.  Due to the set-up of this workout, athletes will stay in the same order throughout the 12 min AMRAP


-HS Walking- 
Pro Men: All 40' must be unbroken
RX Men/Women: Every 5' increment must be unbroken 
Gen & Scaled Men/Women: Contralateral DB Lunges (one DB on shoulder, one overhead) 35/20#, each 5' section must be "unbroken".
