About This Competition
Have you been putting in the work this year? Have you had your eyes set on making it to the next stage, just to have the opportunity taken away from you?! We haven't Forgotten you, we have created a place for YOU! This Quarterfinals level competition is for those who have trained to compete at a high level and WOULD have made it to Quarterfinals this year! We will have 2 divisions, Male and Female individuals, RX only. So when we release the workouts, they will have one set of standards and anything you would have seen in quarterfinals or have seen in the past is fair game. This is for the top 10%, you will be tested and one will be crowned champion!
Movement Standards and Workouts will be released prior to the event.

At the call of 3,2,1 Go! Athletes will begin workout 2A for time. Athletes will complete 3 rounds of 20 chest to bar pull ups, into 15 Thrusters, and 10 burpee box jump overs. Once 3 rounds are complete you will use the remaining time within the 10:00 time cap to find a 1 rep max complex. The complex consists of 1 clean, 2 hang cleans, and 1 jerk. You may power, split, or squat your cleans, you may power or split jerk as well. The first clean must come from the floor directly to the shoulders, the 2 hang cleans must stay above the knees, and you cannot put the barbell down at any time, or the complex does not count. You may regrip if necessary on the hang cleans.
Clean:
athlete takes the bar from the ground to the shoulders in one continuous fluid motion. They may catch the bar in any fashion they see fit. You may use a split clean technique as long as both feet return together at the end of the lift while the barbell is still on their shoulders.
Hang Clean:
Athletes stand to full extension prior to attempting the hang clean. You then will lower the bar as necessary, but it cannot go below the knees. You will pull the bar into the front rack position. You may catch in the power position, or a full squat as long as you stand the barbell up at the top of each rep.
Jerk:
Athletes must have the barbell in the front rack position and in contact with their shoulders or collar bones. You can Push Jerk, or Split Jerk. As long as the barbell is overhead with control, showing complete lockout and arms behind the ears and both feet underneath your hips at the end.
