We are meant for amateur Functional Fitness athletes to compete in online competitions for prizes. Anyone who has competed at the Crossfit Games is not eligible to compete.

 

EVENT DETAILS

If athletes or gym owners are looking for a way to stay connected with your friends and fitness community through these uncertain times, our Quarantine Summer Comp is the perfect opportunity!!

The competiton will begin July 2nd, 2020.

WOD 1:
Announced July 2nd - Video submission due July 6th

WOD 2:
Announced July 6th - Video submission due July 10th

WOD 3:
Announced July 10th - Video submission due July 14th

WOD 4:
Announced July 14th - Video submission due July 18th


The competition will end July 18th.

 

PRIZES

Cash prizes will be awarded to podium finishers in the RX division.
100% of entry fees will go towards cash prizes!! 

All prizes and registration fees use Canadian dollar rates. However, we are able to award the winning athletes from around the world using over 50 different currencies!
No athletes are required to download any platforms in order to recieve their cash prizes.

Sponsorship Prizes can all be shipped internationally and athletes will be able to view the examples and details on our Instagram page. @fitnesscomps

 

DIVISIONS

Equipment required:
A jump rope
2 Dumbbells

Rx Division

Entry fee: $10

Rx Standards 

Double-unders
Dumbbell weights:
Male - 50lb/23kg 
Female - 35lb/16kg 

**We will allow athletes to substitute the dumbbells for kettlebells if needed**

Scaled Division

Entry fee: FREE

Scaled Standards 

Single-unders
Dumbbell weights:
Male - 35lb/16kg
Female - 20lb/9kg

 

VIDEO SUBMISSION

  • Activate your WODProof app timer
  • Click the "Camera" button
  • Click qualifiers
  • Select your event (our logo)
  • Choose workout
  • Continue 
  • Start workout

 Video equipment and dumbbell weights prior to starting your workout.  Shoot the video from an angle so all exercises can be seen clearly meeting the movement standards.  Videos shot with a fisheye lens or similar lens may be rejected due to visible distortion.  We prefer you upload your videos using youtube or google drive.

Athletes must upload a video of their performace in each workout if they want to be eligible for a cash prize or any additional prizes from our sponsors. Score validation for any online video submission is the sole right of FitnessComps.

Movement standards will be attached with each workout and displayed on our instagram page.
