The Keiser Sled is a training apparatus for Firefighters. While standing on the sled foot boards your goal is to use the sledgehammer to move The Block the length of the sled. The Fastest time wins! Masters and Scaled will hit an empty block, weight will be added for Rx and Rx+.
For all non-Milo members, you are welcome to come to Milo during Open Gym on Saturday and Sunday to practice. Please contact Alan at 520-370-2439 to schedule a time.
Two Large Diameter Hoses will be flaked out at the end of a 100' course. Two athletes or teams will compete against each other to drag and flake the hose down 100' and back. Fastest time wins!
Individuals will go down and back, teams will go down and back twice, one length per team member. If you are a non-Milo member you're welcome to come practice with the hose during Open Gym time on Saturday or Sunday. Please contact Alan at 520-370-2439 to schedule a time.
Individuals will do 3 x 200 meter runs; one carrying a sandbag, one carrying an empty Keg, and one with nothing. The first score is the time it takes to complete the run.
The second score is a max Cal row. The time you have to row for calories will be the same as it took to complete the runs.
The faster you complete the runs, the less time you will have to row. Don't you just love strategy!
Teams will complete 4 x 200 meter runs; one with a sandbag, one with an empty Keg, one with a Med Ball, and one with nothing. The first score is the time it takes to complete the runs. One member runs at a time. While one person is running another teammate will be rowing for calories. Every team member must run 1 x 200 meters, and 1 x row for calories. It is up to the team what order tasks are completed, and who carries which item.
The first score is the time it takes to complete the runs. The second score is the total number of calories rowed. Take care to choose the order carefully, for example you might want to put your strongest rower on at the same time as your slowest runner.

Athletes will have 1 min at each bar on a 10 bar Ladder. Athletes choice if they Snatch, Clean (any style) or Deadlift. Points will be awarded as follows:
1 point for a Deadlift x the bar they're on.
2 points for Clean x bar they're on.
3 points for Snatch x the bar they're on.
e.g. Bar #5 will be 5 points for a DL, 10 points for a clean, and 15 points for a Snatch.
Score #1: The total POINTS earned per bar added together.
Score #2: On the last bar lifted the athlete will get one REPITITION per DL, after they have completed their initial lift for points.
e.g. Bar #8 would be 8 points for 1st DL, and then 1 rep per DL. Once you choose to do multiple DL for reps you're done on the ladder.
Teams go through the ladder as individuals, accumulated points & reps will be added together for their two team scores.
Women's Bar weights = 55# - 275#
Men's Bar weights = 75# - 305#

The Pyramid starts with 1 Wall Ball & 1 Burpee, every round you add one rep to both movements. Individuals will have 6 minutes; Teams will have 8 minutes. After the initial 6 or 8 minutes, there will be a 2 min rest. After the rest, Individuals and Teams will have an additional 6 or 8 minutes to defend their score. They will start at the highest rep completed and work back to 1 rep of each movement.
Score is total number of reps completed in the first 6 or 8 min, minus any reps not completed in the second.
Teams can break up the movements any way they desire. One person works at a time, three people rest. The strategy is pushing as hard as you can on the first AMRAP and then be able to repeat your effort to defend your score.
