About This Competition

NXT LVL Athletes, The NLP Pro, is back for 2025!

Our In-House Competition is set to take place on Saturday March 22nd! This will be the weekend after The NLP Communiuty Throwdown and we are looking to keep those spirits alive for competition weekend!

 

Once again the format will be…

Teams of 2.

Mixed/Same Gender Teams.

Mixed/Same Division Teams.

3 Workouts.

One Day.

One Leaderboard.

There will be 3 workouts set and different versions of each workout will be provided depending on skill level of each athlete on the team.

 

For each of the workouts we will have a…

Foundations + Foundations Version

Scaled + Foundations Version

Scaled + Scaled Version

Scaled + RX Version

RX + RX Version

RX + Foundations Version

You read that correctly, you can have a team with mixed divisions! All movements and weights will be standard for each category, but rep schemes may differ depending on the version of workout that fits your team! With this format we can now say that this competition is as inclusive as possible to the entire gym and everyone can do this!

Event will start at 9:00am and end at 2:00pm. (end time is subject to change depending on amount of teams)

REGISTRATION ENDS MARCH 16TH at 6:00PM!

 

Here are the standards for each of the Divisions!

FOUNDATIONS ATHLETES/TEAMS

Weighted Elements:

• Dumbbell(s) - 15lbs/10lbs

• Snatch - 45lbs/35lbs

• Clean & Jerk - 65lbs/45lbs

*The recommended weights are not your 1 Rep Max for that specific movement. These weights listed are weights that you can do 2+ reps.

Gymnastics:

• Jumping Pull Ups

• Sit-Ups

• Elevated Push Ups

• Medicine Ball - 10lbs/6lbs

• Box Height - 16”/12”

• Single Unders/Dumbbell Hop Overs/Line Hop Overs

SCALED ATHLETES/TEAMS

Weighted Elements:

• Dumbbell(s) - 35lbs/25lbs

• Snatch - 75lbs/55lbs

• Clean & Jerk - 95lbs/65lbs

Gymnastics:

• Jumping Chest-to-Bar Pull-Ups

• Jumping Muscle-Ups

• Hanging Knee Raises

• Hand Release Push Ups

• Medicine Ball - 14lbs/10lbs

• Box Height - 20”/16”

• Single Unders

RX ATHLETES/TEAMS

Weighted Elements:

• Dumbbell(s) - 50lbs/35lbs

• Snatch - 95lbs/65lbs

• Clean & Jerk - 135lbs/95lbs

Gymnastics:

• Bar Muscle Ups

• Chest-to-Bar Pull Ups/Pull-Ups

• Toes-to-Bar

• Handstand Push Ups

• Box Height - 24”/20”

• Double Unders

EVENT 2.1 - BREATHE, STRETCH, SHAKE

PART A) 0:00 - 7:00, For time, accumulate as a team:

• RX/RX - 80 Toes to Bar

• Scaled/Scaled - 100 Toes to Hip

• RX/Scaled - 90 Accumulated Reps of Toes to Bar or Toes to Hip, RX Athlete MUST do Toes to Bar, Scaled Athletes MUST do Toes to Hip

*While one athlete works, the other athlete is performing a bearhug sandbag hold. T2B reps are only accumulated while the sandbag is off the floor in a bear hug. Switch at any time.


Sandbag Weights

RX - 150lb/100lb Bag

Scaled - 75lb/50lb Bag

EVENT 2B - BREATHE, STRETCH, SHAKE

PART B) 7:00 - 10:00, 3:00 AMRAP of:

• Sandbag Cleans Over the Shoulder

 

Sandbag Weights

RX - 150lb/100lb Bag

Scaled - 75lb/50lb Bag

 

Workout/Movement Standards & Workout Flow will be dicussed during the Athlete Briefing before the event.

EVENT 3 - MO MONEY, MO PROBLEMS

Every 1:30 x 6 rounds, alternating rounds:

• 15 reps of “X” Movement

• In remaining time: Max Calorie Echo Bike 


Round ½: Barbell Thrusters

Round ¾: Double Dumbbell Thrusters

Round ⅚: Wallballs

 

Barbell Weights

RX - 75lbs/55lbs

Scaled - 45lbs/35lbs


Dumbbell Weights

RX - 35lbs/25lbs

Scaled - 20lbs/15lbs


Medicine Ball Weights

RX - 20lbs/14lbs to 10ft./9ft. Target

Scaled - 14lbs/10lbs to 10ft./9ft. Target
