About This Competition
The Raz N’ Hell Fitness Festival is the premier health and wellness event in Merced County, California.
A combination of CrossFit throw down, health summit, vendor fair, and entertainment event.
We are looking to bring better knowledge and availability to our community through advocacy and engagment.
Set in the historic backdrop of Castle Airforce Base and in partnership with Blaker Brewing Company.
We are looking to bring “Better” to our community in a fun and new way!

Athletes must switch who is deadlifting and who is performing hang clean & jerks each round.
RX Men: x2 50lb dumbbells; 275lb barbell
RX Women: x2 35lb dumbbells; 185lb barbell
Scaled Men: x2 35lb dumbbells; 225lb barbell
Scaled Women: x2 25lb dumbbells; 155lb barbell

At 3, 2, 1, GO, athlete 1 will perform 4 deadlifts, then athlete 2 will perform 8 double dumbbell hang clean & jerks, then athlete 1 will perform 4 deadlifts, then athlete 2 will perform 4 double dumbbell hang clean & jerks, then athlete 1 will perform 4 deadlifts. Partners will switch roles and repeat for a total of 4 rounds.

At 3, 2, 1, GO, athlete 1 will do a maximum number of double unders in one minute. At 1:00, athlete 2 will do a maximum number of weighted box step up and overs in one minute. At 2:00, athlete 1 will do a maximum number of weighted box steip up and overs in one minute. At 3:00, althlete 2 will do a maximum number of double unders. At 4:00, athletes will move directly to "The Goon Total".

At 3, 2, 1, GO, athlete 1 will complete a 50 foot shuttle run with a 25 foot 3 point contact turn around. Then switch with athlete 2. Continue until five 50 foot increments are completed. Then athletes will complete 25 front squats, partitioned as needed. Once the front squats are complete, 1 athlete will perform a 25 foot handstand walk with 5 foot increments. Once athlete 1 is finished, athlete 2 may start their 25 foot handstand walk. When athlete 2 completes their handstand walk, both athletes will sprint back to the start. If time remains, they will rest. At 3:00, this will begin again but with heavier weights. Weights will be changed for the athletes.

The workout will get two scores. The time for each athlete is a score.
At 3, 2, 1, GO, athletes will start behind the runner starting arch. Both athletes will run approximately 1,000 meters. The team will have to then run an additional 3,000 meters sharing a burden, switching as needed. Burden must be carred by one athlete at a time. No dragging of equipment allowed. Runners are not allowed to move onto the next section of the vent until both athletes are together. At the end of the 3,000 meter burden run, the athletes will sprint 1,000 meters to the finish line.

4:00-12:00 Minutes
A1: Hang Snatch + Snatch
A2: Hang Clean + Clean + S2OH
Score: Combined Heaviest Lifts
At 4:00, athlete 1 will establish a max deadlift + hang snatch + snatch. Athlete 2 will establish a max deadlift + hang clean + clean + shoulder to overhead. There is no rules on who can lift when. Weights can be moved up and down. Once an athlete has choosen to perform a particular lift they may not switch to the other lift.
