About This Competition
Fittest On The Beaches
We are looking for the two fittest team of 3 on the Northern Beaches in functional strength and conditioning. This is NOT a crossfit comp so if your hesitant, there will be no high skill olympic lifting or gymnastics movements. There May be some light clean and press / jerks and possibly toes to bar but that will be as advanced as it gets. We want to get all of the gyms on the beaches together for a day of fun yet competitive fittness and showcase all of our hard work.
Teams will consist of same gender trios MMM / FFF. Each gender will have one division with no scaled division BUT movements will be simple enough to include members from beginner to elite.
We will have CASH prizes for our winners and a few other treats to hand out on the day.
Refund Policy - There will be a strict NO REFUND policy in place. Ticket purchase is final and non refundable. Please DO NOT by a ticket if you are not certain you can compete. Teams will be able to transfer, substitue or fill team spots.

*Each athlete must complete a set of 10 burpee box jump overs
AMRAP x 12 Minutes

10 Toes To Bar
*Athlete must complete the whole round before changing
*Athletes may complete 5 burpee pull ups as substitue for strict pull ups
*Athletes must keep the same order throughout
*Event 2 leads straight into event 3
3 Minutes - Total Calories
Max C2 Bike
*Bike must be on dampner 10
*Athletes can rotate in any order
*Event begins straight after event 2
For Combined Weight - 6 Minutes
1RM Shoulder to Overhead
*Each athlete will record their best lift
*Athletes may complete any variation desired to as long as the bar starts in front rack and finishes overhead
*Rep must start from the rack to be counted
*This leads straight into event 5
6 Minute ARAP - 3 Way Synchro
10.10 Single Arm DB Thruster 22.5/15
10 Alternating Devils Press 22.5/15
*Athletes must meet at the bottom of the squat and lock DB out over head at the same time
*Teams must complete 10 thrusters on one side and 10 on the other
*Teams must alternate hands during Devils Press
*There will be a 1 minute timer inbetween event 4 & 5
*Teams must unpack the bar and set weights up for next heat
