About This Competition

Built By Atlas are proud to present The Quarantine Games!!


The purpose of this online competition is to create a fun, mass participation event for gym members across the country to take part in during this time in which gyms are closed.


This will be a fun pairs event, where athletes work independently each week so there is no need to be in proximity with one another. Their combined score will form the score to submit each week.


Accessible workouts released weekly, suitable for all levels and abilities.


Designed purely for FUN to encourage mass participation to help keep our community together during these tough times.


Minimum kit requirement is one Plate, with a weight guideline based on their 1RM Power Clean.


0-25kg 1RM = 5kg Plate

25-40kg 1RM = 10kg Plate

40-70kg 1RM = 15kg Plate

70-100kg 1RM = 20kg Plate

100kg+ 1RM = 25kg Plate


*Entry fee is just £2 per pair to cover the cost of the leaderboard.


Video submission with your score is required for weekly and overall prizes.

Workouts

Partner 1: 2 min AMRAP of Plate Clean + Shoulder To Overhead

Partner 2: 2 min AMRAP of Burpees to Plate.

Both Athletes Perform For Combined Time:

30 Overhead Plate Lunges (alternating legs)

30 Butterfly Sit Ups

30 Hand Release Press Ups

20 Overhead Plate Lunges (alternating legs)

20 Butterfly Sit Ups

20 Hand Release Press Ups

10 Overhead Plate Lunges (alternating legs)

10 Butterfly Sit Ups

10 Hand Release Press Ups

(12 min cap for each athlete)

Both Athletes Perform the Following Chipper Independently:


100 Plate Hops

1 minute rest

50 Plate Deadlifts

45 second rest

25 Burpees Over Plate

30 second rest

10 Plate Devils Press


Your score is the combined finishing time on the clock of Athlete 1 + Athlete 2 (including the rest periods).

Both Athletes Perform the Following Rep Scheme Independently:


10 Rounds:

8 Plate Squat Cleans

8 Seated Plate Shoulder Press


(12 min cap per athlete)


Your score is the combined finishing time on the clock of Athlete 1 + Athlete 2.


If an athlete doesn't finish before the 12 min cap, please add 1 second per uncompleted rep to the time.

Both Athletes Perform a 10 min AMRAP of the following rep scheme:


5 Plate Ground-To-Overheads

10 Plate Floor Press

15 Plate Squats


Your score is the total combined reps of Athlete 1 + Athlete 2.

Both athletes perform the following workout independently:


3 Rounds of:

Min 1: Max Burpees To Plate

Min 2: Max Alternating Front Rack Reverse Lunges

Min 3: Rest

For Time:

100 Plate Deadlifts

Both Athletes independently perform a 6 minute AMRAP of:
