About This Competition
SANDCLASH 2020 CROSSFIT COMPETITION AND FITNESS FESTIVAL
SandClash is a two-day licensed CrossFit Compeition and Fitness Festival designed to challenge athletes, celebrate the dynamic fitness community, and promote an active and healthly lifestyle. The weekend will be packed with competition, entertainment, classes, seminars, and vendors from around the world.
After last year's debut of the biggest fitness compeition and festival in Saudi Arabia, SandClash 2020 Finals will expand to include:
- 40 Male Individuals (30 from Online Qualifier + 10 Invites)
- 30 Female Individuals (20 from Online Qualifier + 10 Invites)
- 20 Male Teams (All from Online Qualifier) - 3 members per team
- 10 Female Teams (All from Online Qualifier) - 3 members per team
Notes:
- Individual divisions are open to GCC and MENA athletes
- Team divisions are open to all athletes
Cash Prizes:
- 1st Place Male Individual: 15,000 SAR
- 2nd Place Male Individual: 10,000 SAR
- 3rd Place Male Individual: 5,000 SAR
- 1st Place Female Individual: 15,000 SAR
- 2nd Place Female Individual: 10,000 SAR
- 3rd Place Female Individual: 5,000 SAR
- 1st Place Male Team: 15,000 SAR
- 2nd Place Male Team: 10,000 SAR
- 3rd Place Male Team: 5,000 SAR
- 1st Place Female Team: 15,000 SAR
- 2nd Place Female Team: 10,000 SAR
- 3rd Place Female Team: 5,000 SAR
- Event Winners: 500 SAR
Important Dates
- 19 December 2019: Online Qualifier Registration Opens
- 22 December 2019: Workouts Announced
- 05 January 2020: Online Qualifier Ends
- Scores must be submitted by 11:59pm (GMT +3)
- 21-22 February 2020: SandClash 2020 Finals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Additional Information
- All athletes must submit a video for score verification
- No need for a judge to verify score
- Workouts may be performed at any location
- Video submissions for top qualifying athletes and teams will be reviewed for score verification in order to receive invitation to the Finals
- If an athlete declines his or her invitation, the next highest rank will be invited until all spots are filled
- Sand Clash Staff reserves the right to issue or withhold invitations to any person for participation in the Finals
- Team member substitution requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
Video Submission Standards for Online Qualifiers:
- Video must start with athlete saying full name and
SandClash Online Qualifier workout number - Athlete, equipment, and timer must be included in the video at all times
- Video may not be edited or cut in any way
- Ensure video is shot at an angle where movement standards can be clearly seen
- Tip: if filming with a mobile, enable airplane mode so workout will be uninterrupted.

There is no time cap for this event.
Video should include only athlete introduction (Name, SandClash Qualifier #), successful lift, and weights shown for verification.
Kindly keep submission videos under 2:00 in length
