  • Bastard Cousins will meet with ball overhead touching floor
  • You must pass through a squat coming out of the floor portion of the bastard cousin.  (i.e. going through a lunge, putting a hand down, or criss-cross applesauce get up is not ok)
  • The ball must hit the target (above the 10'/9' line) before the athlete continues back to the floor.  Take as many tries as is necessary (i.e. multiple throws)

In Male-Male and Female-Female pairs, for time:

On the wall and ground a height line will be set.
There will be a line separating left and right working areas.
There will also be a height line approximately 1 meter long and an approximately 4 feet of the ground.

The athletes will start standing on one side of the line and when ready will bend down and pick up a sandbag with one hand on each end raising the bag above the height line and dropping it. The entire bag must be above the height line.
The athlete will then step to the other side of the ground line and repeat with a sandbag on that side.  The movement 15 times per side (30 total reps)

All athletes, will pick up the 300lbs stretcher and carry it the prescribed distance and return without dropping the stretcher or stopping (for time).

Score is total time to finish the sandbag work (women, then men) and stretcher carry (all together).

Athletes will advance every minute to progressively heavier barbells and perform:

1 Clean.

  • Any style is accepted (Squat, Power, Split), though the bar may not be lifted from the hang (i.e. deadlifted to the hang position, and then the athlete performs a hang clean).
  • Athletes may lift for the full minute, so if a lift is failed, the remaining time may be used to make additional attempts.
  • Score will be total weight lifted for the entire team.
  • Weights are set for the event and will not be changed.

The other Male-Female pair, For time:

5 Syncro Wall Walks

  • Partner Deadlifts will meet at top (locked out position)
  • Partner Wall Walks will meet on the floor with hands on the start line.
  • Tape lines will mark the start point and finish point of the wall walk.  Any part of the hand may touch the tape line at the bottom and top of the rep.  Partners may reach the top of the rep independently of each other.

~3km Run for time.

  • all 4 athletes begin the run together and after each ~760m (2 laps), 1 athlete can move into the building to work on rest of the workout AMRAP

  • The first athlete into the building will start on the rower and remain on the rower until the next team-member enters the building
  • Once the next athlete enters the building, those 2 athletes may accumulate row and bike calories as desired (switching machines is OK)
  • The Third athlete to enter the building will signal the addition of "Over-Unders" to the available work stations

4 Scores will be equally weighted to give your overall score on this event.

  1. ~3km run time
  2. Total Rower Cals
  3. Total Bike Cals
  4. Over-Under Reps Completed*

*Over-Unders require a 2 foot take off (no weird gallop-jump) to jump over the band (set up across hooks set at ~22" off the ground).  You may get under the band and back to the starting position any way (crawling, ducking, rolling, etc.).  You may hit the band on your way under the band.  If you knock the band off, you are responsible for setting it back up on the hooks.
