"BATTLE ON THE AIRFIELD" 2-Person Team Functional Fitness/ CrossFit Competition
When: Saturday, Nov. 13th, 2021 8:00AM-4:00PM
Where: SkyRaider CrossFit Gym 4130 Mennes Ave Bldg 1, Riverside, Ca 92509
BATTLE ON THE AIRFIELD is a 2-person (MM/FF) CrossFit Team Competition for athletes of all skill levels.

TO REGISTER:
One person registers and pays for the team (team captain). Have team members' names, emails, shirt sizes, birthdates, etc. available when registering.

THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS TO FUTURE EVENTS. NO EXCEPTIONS. Athlete substitution accepted up until event day, by having your new athlete sign your team waiver prior to start of event.

Workouts
90 SNATCHES (45 EACH PARTNER) FOR TIME

Partner 1 and 2 will be working simultaneously, one partner beginning on the snatch, one beginning on the assault bike. Partners can swirch at any point while working through the 90 reps. Each partner must completed 45 reps. If the 90 reps are finished before the time cap, the remaining time will be spent switching off/on the assault bike accumulating as many calories as possible.
*Snatches can be power or squat.
[Part A Score: Time 90 snatches completed. If not completed, number of unfinished reps - 1 second added to 8 min time cap]
[Part B Score: 1 Cal = 1 Point]

*The weights of the remaining 4 rounds will remain a surprise until the day of competition.
Both partners will complete the run together. Both partners must return from the run in order to begin the weightlifting movement. Both partners must complete the required weight on the clean before proveeding to the next round.
*Can be a power or squat clean.
[Score: For Time. If not completed, each weight requirement = 2 seconds added to 8 min time cap (per athlete), 200M Run = 1 second added to 8 min time cap (per athlete). Tie Breaker = Time each weight is lifted by both athletes]

Both partners are required to complete an even split of the movements. 15 total reps for each partner for the first 3 movements, 30 total reps for each partner for the double unders. Partners are required to complete a minimum of 5 reps before switching off. Reps must be completed in incraments of 5.
For example: Parnter 1 will begin and must complete a minimum of 5 reps before switching with partner 2. Partner 1 can set the bar down to rest, however partner 2 can not begin their reps until a set of 5 has been completed by partner 1. Partner 2 can choose to complete 5, 10, 15 reps.. so on and so forth til each partner has completed all reps in increments of 5.

**Reps will be split evenly**
Partner 1 will begin by completing a 50ft walking lunge w/ weighted plate. (50ft will have 10ft markers/lines) Requirements: Knee must touch the ground and leading foot must fully pass the 10ft marker/line for that length to count. Athletes can rest at any 10ft marker. When progressing onto the next 10ft, athlete must begin behind the marker/line. Partner 2 can begin once Partner 1 has completed the full 50ft. Once both partners have completed the 100ft, Partners will move on to the following movements of the workout, each completing equal number of reps. (Total 15 Box Jumps each, 10 Wall Balls each, 5 Hand Stand Push Ups/Shoulder to Overhead each). All reps must be completed in sets of a minimum of 5 reps.
*Box Jumps can be scaled to step ups for the Scaled Division.
Example: If partner 1 completes 3 reps, stops to rest, parnter 2 can not begin until partner 1 totals a completion of 5 reps minimum.
*Athletes can complete reps in sets of 5, 10, 15, etc.
