Comp for a Cause: Boston's Wounded Veterans
About This Competition
We are excited for our 3rd Annual Fall Charity Competition.
This year we are teaming up with a local Boston charity “Boston's Wounded Veterans”. Last year we had such a great success and we are pumped to have you all in again!
We will be capping our teams at 50 this year so be sure to sign up QUICK.
ALL 3 WODS ARE POSTED
Divisions:
- Male/Male RX and scaled
- Female/Female RX and scaled
- We are open to ALL team submissions --just send us an email.
Standards:
RX:
Snatch 115/75
Front Squat 95/65
Double Unders
Toes to Bar/Chest to bar pull up
Perform Clean and Jerk (any style)
Handstand push ups
Scaled:
Snatch 85/55
Front Squat 65/45
Single Unders
Hanging Knee Raise
Perform Clean and Jerk (any style)
Push ups
***Waiver is attached: please bring a printed signed copy to expedite the check in process!
Things to know:
- IT'S A CHARITY FOR ALL TO PARTICIPATE IN
- 3 WODs
- You will know the WODs with time in advance to practice
- Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each division
- We will be having a raffle venmo accepted

- If competing is not your thang, you can still help out by signing up to be a volunteer or a judge
- If you work for a company interested in donating please reach out

Workouts
5 rounds for time of:
- 24 Deadlifts
- 18 Hang power cleans
- 12 Push Jerks
Rounds 1-4: 155/105#
Round 5: 185/125#
Standards:
-Complete 4 rounds of "DT" last round increasing in weight for both divisions.
-Time cap 12 minutes
-1 rep requirement for each round and movement
-Reps split as athletes see fit
5 rounds for time of:
60 double-unders
30 kettlebell swings (American) 53/35#
15 synchro burpees to plate with partner
Standards:
-Jump rope and Kettlebell swings split as teams see fit
-Partners must have both feet on the plate at same time
-Do not need to stand fully on plate
-Time cap is 14 minutes
4 Rounds for time:
-21 Pull ups
-15 Handstand push ups
-9 Thrusters
Weight: 115/75
Standards:
- 9 minute time cap
-No rep requirement
-Split reps as athletes see fit
