Join us for our 6th annual Battle of the Roses competition!

This year will be same sex teams of 2. Rx, Scaled and Masters 40+ divisions.

Teams can expect 5 scored events

Cash prize and prize packages up for grabs!

2’ AMRAP 

Max GHDSU 

While other partner perform double DB hold 

*score is total GHDSU



*partner 1 performs max GHDSU, while partner 2 holds perform double DB hold (Farmers carry hold)

Partners can switch GHDSU whenever they want, GHDSU’s only count when the other partner is holding DB


Rx ladies will touch riser 

Master athletes will touch riser 

Scaled- athletes will perform abmat sit ups

Workout 1 (12min total time) 

Every 2min for 6 rounds 

Athlete 1  

40 Heavy Double unders 

1 Snatch 


Athlete 2 

40 Heavy Double unders 

1 Clean and jerk 


Scaled athletes will perform single unders


Workout description: At the start of the clock athlete 1 will have 2 minutes to perform 40 heavy double unders and complete 1 snatch. In the next 2min window athlete 2 will follow with 40 heavy double unders then 1 Clean and jerk. Athletes will continue this for 6 rounds, give each athlete 3 lifts a piece.


Score is the highest Snatch and Clean and jerk added together

Workout 2&3 (15’ cap)

10’ AMRAP

6 Shuttle runs (P1)

16 DB snatch (sync) if worm 15 worm push press

6 Shuttle runs (P2)

16 DB goblet Squat (sync)  if worm 15 worm Thrusters 


*if worms are not provided, athletes will do the DB option

Masters- 40/25

Scale- 35/20
