About This Competition
The Gulf Fitness Championship emphasizes team dynamics and regional representation, bringing together top athletes from across the Gulf. With a dedicated prize pool and a prestigious venue, the GFC highlights the collaborative spirit and high level of competition within the fitness community, making it a distinct and highly anticipated event.
Qualifiers
The Gulf Fitness Championship (GFC) will conduct its online qualifiers from September 19th to October 10th. These qualifiers will determine the top teams who will advance to the finals. Each team will consist of the top four male athletes from 6 different gulf countries, ensuring a diverse and competitive field.
Finals
• Dates: The GFC finals will be held from December 6th to 8th.
• Venue: Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium.
• Participants: The GFC will feature 12 teams, each composed of the top four male athletes from 6 different countries. This year, six teams will be returning from last year’s competition, while six new teams will join the fray.
Prize Purse
The total prize purse for the GFC is 100,000 AED, reflecting its focus on team competition and regional representation in the fitness community.
Rules
- Residency Requirement: To compete in the GFC under your respective country (USA, UK, South Africa, Lebanon, Egypt, or Jordan), you must have a valid residency in one of the six Gulf countries (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait) as of the registration deadline. Proof of residency must be provided upon registration.
- Leaderboard Placement: Athletes must register under their respective country (e.g., South Africa, UK, etc.) on Competition Corner. Your performance in the online qualifiers will be ranked on your country’s specific leaderboard, determining your standing within your nation’s team.
- Qualifier Process: All registered athletes will compete in the online qualifiers. You must complete and submit your scores for all workouts within the designated timeframe. Only scores submitted on time will be considered for ranking on your country’s leaderboard.
- Team Selection for Finals: The top four athletes from each country’s leaderboard (based on the online qualifier results) will be selected to represent their country in the GFC Finals. These athletes will compete against teams from the six Gulf countries and other participating nations in the GFC event.

- Round 1: 1-1-1 (all three athletes compete)
- Round 2: 1-1 (top two athletes of each team competes)
- Round 3: 1 (final athlete competes)

Format: 30-minute EMOM
Minute 1: 10 Burpee Box Jumps (24”)
Minute 2: 15 Dumbbell Snatches (30kg)
Minute 3: 20 Calorie Row
Teams: 2 Athletes
- Athlete 1 completes the first 15 minutes
- Athlete 2 starts from minute 16 and finishes the workout
Score: Total reps
If Athlete B finishes the 4th round, the last round is scored for time
