About This Competition
Aubrey Lift-A-Thon
Aubrey Hope, a 7-year-old, was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer on June 7, 2021. Unfortunately, she experienced a relapse on May 8, 2023.
Come together on March 2nd to support a local family facing the challenges of childhood cancer for the second time. This liftathon aims to alleviate the financial burden on the family, allowing them to concentrate on their little girl’s recovery. Whether you’re a weightlifter, crossfitter, runner, martial artist, or someone who doesn’t typically lift, all are welcome to participate in this team weightlifting event.
Let’s unite, have a great time, lift some weights, and contribute to a meaningful cause.
$50.00 registration per team- 100% of proceeds to Aubrey's family

Event 1: 1RM Bench Press
- 5:00 to establish a 1RM
- Bar starts empty
- Partner 1 will begin, once Partner 2 takes their turn, you cannot go back
- You may choose to go up or down with weight within the 5 minutes
- Must use clips
- You are able to use a lift off if wanted
Total score = Both partner weights combined
Event 2: Clean & Jerk Ladder
Begginer Weight starts at 55/35
Intermediate Weight starts at 115/85
RX Weight starts at 185/125

- Partner 1 will begin, once Partner 2 takes their turn, you cannot go back
- You may choose to go up or down with weight within the 6 minutes
- Must use clips
Total score = Both partner weights combined

Workouts
Establish a 1 RM Bench Press in 5 Minutes
Establish a 1 RM Deadlift in 6:00
EMOM Style, you have :50 (:10 transition) to to hit 1 clean and jerk at the weight your division starts at, then you progress to the next bar doing the same thing each minute until you can't anymore.
you can take as many attempts as needed on a bar within that :50 seconds
