About This Competition

TeamUp Legends is a competition where two buddies compete together.

There are 3 divisions. The results of the (online) qualifiers will determine your division.

20 teams in the Intermediate Division
20 teams in the RX Division
20 teams in the Elite Division

Of each division a maximum of 10 teams will compete in our live event on April 14th of 2024.

Workouts

BUY IN: 0:00-01:00

Synchronized Alternated Max DB Snatches ( Squat, Power or Muscle Snatch are allowed. No Hang Snatch ) in 1 minute, then immediatelly into

Synch on the top of the movement

DB Weights 15/10 kg

Clean Ladder ( Squat, Power or Muscle Clean are allowed )

Each Athlete Performs on every minute 1 Clean, Go after each other, NOT together at the same time! If you miss the Clean,  go for Deadlifts.No extra attempts of the Clean after a no rep.

You are allowed to use 1 barbell if you are the same sexes.

If you can not Clean the weight, go for as many deadlifts in the 1 minute time frame

 

Clock            Weights

01:00-02:00  50/35 kg

02:00-03:00  60/45 kg

03:00-04:00  70/55 kg

04:00-05:00  80/65 kg

05:00-06:00  90/75 kg

06:00-08:00

Max Double Unders you can share these with your buddy or 1 buddy does them all.

 

 

Score:

1 point for every DB Snatch 

Each good clean gives the same points as the weight of the barbell is: which means 35 points for the women and 50 points for the men for a good rep of the first barbell.

Each Deadlift gives 1 point.

Each Double under gives 1 point.

Go for a heavy complex of

1 Snatch (Power and Squat are allowed)

1 Hang Snatch (Power and Squat are allowed)

1 Overhead Squat

 

The score of the team is the sum of the heaviest weight of both buddies.

Each athlete does this workout alone.

So there will be two scores and two videos to upload.

For Time

3 Shoulder to Overhead (strict, push press, push jerk and split jerk are allowed)

30 seconds handstand hold against wall

6 Shoulder to Overhead

6 wall walks

9 Shoulder to Overhead

9 Handstand Push Ups (strict and  kipping are allowed)

12 Shoulder to Overhead

12 m Handstand Walk ( in segments of 1,5 m at least) 

If you did not finish the handstand walk: each segment of 1,5 m  handstand walk is 1 repetition.

 

Barbell Weight 40/25 kg

For the HSPU use 1 abmat

Wallwalks:

For women, the distance from the wall to the tape is 55 inches. For men, the distance is 60 inches. This first line will be the start for each repetition. Tape a second line that leaves 10 inches of space between the tape’s far edge and the wall.

Show this in the video before you start and film the weights as well!

Scoring instructions: If you do not finish within the 8 minute time cap, add 1 second for every missed repetition.

For example:

If you have 5 reps left, your score would be 8:05
