About This Competition

Welcome to the Second annual North East HungerGames! 

We are very excited to bring you an incredible individual oportunity for functional fitness competition.

Join us on May 20th  at CrossFit Invulnerable to see who has what it takes to walk away with a win and cash prize.

 

Registration opens on March 10th and closes May 15th register early to ensure your shirt. 

There will be an RX and scaled  male and female division three wods out soo  and a final to be announced the day of for the top three in each division.

 

Recomendations for divisions 

Rx-

clean up to 185/125 for reps

deadlift up to 275/185 for reps 

thruster up to 115/75 for reps 

dumbell snatch 50/35 for reps 

devils press 50/35

and perform toes to bar  handstand push ups 

Scaled 

clean up to 135/95 for reps

deadlift up to 185/125 for reps 

thruster up to 95/65 for reps 

dumbell snatch 35/20 for reps 

devils press 35/20

and perform hanging knee tucks and hand release push ups 

 

All standards will be the same as the CrossFit Games open *

 

Finals for rx may include 

bar muscle ups 

cleans up to 225/155

snatches 155/105 

dumbell snatch 70/50

double unders 

crossovers

Workouts

Complete the following workout as fast as possible:

Echo bike calories 

Handstand push ups 

Front squats 155/105

 

10-8-6-4-2

In 5 minutes complete the heaviest weight possible of the following complex:

 

hang clean (power or squat) plus touch and go clean (power or squat) plus shoulder to overhead.

In 15 minutes complete as many reps as possible of the following workout:

 

12 toes to bar 

12 calories row 

12 Shuttle runs 

12 devils presses 50/35
