About This Competition
Mackay Mayhem is back with the Trident Series!!
This event is to be held on the 15th of April as a same sex team of three competition. You can expect a day of epic fitness, exciting events inside & outside the gym which will bring plenty of good times with friends.
We have RX, intermediate and beginner divisions to allow for all levels of fitness so grab your mates and get ready for an awesome day of competition.
Note- One of the workouts will involve swimming. It will be in distances of 25m and you will be able to touch the bottom should you need to have a break. Any swimming style will be permitted
You will need to register by the 31st of March to secure your comp shirt

Workouts
100 Sandbags over the fence
Every 2min 7 synchro Burpees (starting with burpees)
Time Cap: ??
The workout is 100 Sandbags over the fence. But every 2 minutes including the start all athletes will complete 7 synchro Burpees on the same side of the fence. (athletes will decide who stands where)
Athlete A will complete the shuttle course followed by Athletes B & C. Once partner C completes the shuttle course all athletes will complete the shuttle course together holding the piece of rope. If anyone lets go of the rope the whole team must go back to the last completed section.
At the completion of the workout teams will pick up a number card over the finish line in order of that they finish in.
Shuttle course- 20m Lunge out & back, 40m run out & back and 80m Run out & back.
12 min AMRAP - Indian File
40m Swim
12 Dual DB Hang Clean & Jerk
Athlete A will swim up and back and complete 12 Dual DB Hang Clean & Jerks. Partner B can start their swim once athlete A tags the wall. You must stay in indian file. No Diving into the pool is allowed.

Into 1 max unbroken set of muscle ups/ CTB/Dead Hang
Athletes have 6 minutes to complete the reps sharing as required. There is no minimum work requirement. At the 6 minute mark each athlete will perform 1 unbroken set of Muscle up/CTB/ Dead Hang.
RX- 50/35kg
Intermediate: 40/30kg
Beginner: 30/20kg
each athlete will have 1 max unbroken set of muscle ups/ CTB/Dead Hang to be combined for a total score
