Workouts

Event 1: “Into The Storm”

Athletes open their Throwdown with a test of grit, power, and body control.

For time, complete the following ascending ladder:

1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9 reps

Deadlifts
Wall Walks
With every round the storm intensifies weights stay heavy, the wall looms taller, and fatigue builds fast. Only those who can hold form under pressure will push through to the final set.

Time Cap: 8 minutes

This workout rewards efficient barbell cycling, strong pressing endurance, and the ability to stay composed as the rep count climbs.

Event 3: The Burn

90-Second Max Calorie Echo Bike

The clock starts, and it’s you versus the machine. Just 90 seconds to empty the tank and see how deep you can go into the pain cave. Every pedal, every pull, every calorie counts.

Rules:

Start seated, hands and feet in position.
Bike monitor will be set up at 90 second.the Timing is counting
No moving until the official start signal.
Score = total calories shown on the monitor

FLOATER 1 :The Gibbon

Max single arm hang from gymnastics ring

Best of 2 Attempts.

2 minutes rest between attempts

30 cm above the extended arm

The Grand Finale: “THE SNATCH COMPLEX”

The Thailand Throwdown: Masters Edition closes with a true test of strength, skill, and grit. This is where champions are decided.

Workout Format:
⏱ Work: 45 seconds
⏱ Rest/Transition: 15 seconds
(Repeat across all stations)

The Complex:
1️⃣ Snatch
2️⃣ Hang Snatch
3️⃣ Overhead Squat

Burpees if you cannot complete complex in designated time.

If you successfully complete the complex, you can rest.

If you fail or choose not to attempt the lift, you may perform burpees for the entire 45 seconds.

Scoring:

Heaviest successful Snatch Complex ✅

Tie break = total lateral burpees over the bar 🔥

= Final Score

Event Flow:
Every working window demands precision on the barbell, followed immediately by raw engine on the floor. The barbell will crown the strongest — but the burpees will separate the relentless from the rest.

Standards & Tie-Break:

Burpees are always required, whether the lift is successful or not.
Heavier lifts always outrank lighter ones. Burpee total is used only to break ties on weight.

Workout 2: “TROPICAL DEPRESSION”

Athletes will be tested across endurance, coordination, and gymnastic skill in this grinding 13-minute AMRAP.

AMRAP 13
As many rounds as possible in 13 minutes of:

Wall Balls
Double Unders

(35 - 39 , 40 - 44 )R1: Pull up/ R2 : Chest to bar /R3+ : Bar muscle up

(45-49 , 50 + )R1: Pull up/ R2 : Pull up  /R3+ : Chest to bar

TBD

Wall Ball weights & target heights vary by age group/division (see full breakdown in the division standards post).
All double unders and gymnastics reps must meet full range of motion to count.

Event Flow:
This workout rewards athletes who can maintain unbroken sets, manage transitions, and keep composure as fatigue climbs. The wall balls and double unders build volume fast, while the bar muscle-ups are the separator for those chasing the leaderboard.

Time Domain: 13 minutes of nonstop movement pacing and efficiency are everything.

Workout 3: “TYPHOON”

The Typhoon hits hard and fast—power, speed, and grit will decide who weathers the storm.

Format:
Every 3 minutes × 4 rounds (12 minutes total)

Each 3-minute window:

2 Rounds of:
🏋🏻‍♂️ Alternating Dumbbell Snatch
📦 Box Jump Over (step-down required)
Then…
🚣‍♀️ Max Calorie Row in the remaining time
Your score? Total calories rowed across all 4 rounds.

Athlete must row at least 1 calorie to proceed to the next round

Event Flow:
Athletes must attack the dumbbell and box efficiently to leave as much time as possible on the rower. Fatigue builds across rounds, but consistency and pacing are the key to surviving the Typhoon.
