About This Competition

We have had one simple goal since launching Everyday Warrior in 2014, to support CrossFitters fighting cancer. Over 6 years we have been able to provide financial assistance to over 40 warrior all over the country. If you're following our journey, you have seen stories of inspiration as people have fought the battle to not let cancer take away from something they love. All of these warriors are fighters - they reflect the spirit of our founder, and the original Everyday Warrior Brittany Gill who passed away in September, 2014. The Battle Series was her mission - she wanted a way to rally community, raise money, and pay it forward.

This November join us in reaching our goal for the 2019 Team Battle Series to raise enough money to support 6 warriors. You can help us reach this goal by simply finding a partner and registering! 

Divisions

  • 2 people per team (2 males or 2 females)
  • Divisions will be done through Age groups: 16-17, 18-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+
    * If two athletes from different age groups team up, they will compete in the younger division.

Registration

  • $120 (includes two t-shirts)
  • Team's must be registered prior to November 12, 2019. 
  • Registration is through competition corner.

Merchandise

  • We have opened up the ability to order T-Shirts if you are not competing. Please note, if you are paying the $120 T-shirts are included in your fee.

Workouts

  • 3 workouts over 3 weeks.
  • Workouts will be released on Thursday's and scores are due by 5:00pm Monday Pacific time.
  • Each workout comes in two versions: Rx’d and scaled. The scaled workout is designed to be more accessible. Each week, you can choose the version of the workout that’s right for you.

Movement Standards

  • Movements/weights will be consistent with the 2019 CrossFit Open.
  • Masters division will follow the Masters 45-55+ movement standards.

Prizes

  • Prizes will be given to the top 3 gyms for participation to give away how ever they decide! Spread the word and get your box involved!

How do I change my division?

Do I need to register my affiliate?
No, you will just manually type in your affiliate name. Please type the full name of your affiliate!

Do my partner and I have to be from the same affiliate? 
No

I am a master, does my partner and I have to be in the same age division? 
No, however you will be ranked in the division of the youngest master. 

What to do if you’re having score submission issues? 
Late scores will not be accepted. However if you are having issues submitting your score email info@everyday-warrior.org before the score submission deadline.

Where do I submit my score?
You can submit your scores by logging into your account with Competition Corner

Can I repeat the WOD and enter in a new score? 
Yes, as long as you enter the score prior to the deadline. 

How can I change my t-shirt size and mailing address? 
Please email your changes to info@everyday-warrior.org

When will I receive my t-shirt?
Our t-shirt vendor Boxmade Goods will ship both shirts to the team captain. You will receive an email when the order is processed and then when its being shipped.

Athletes will have the option to complete the workout RX or scaled. An athlete who chooses to perform a scaled workout will be ranked on the Leaderboard relative to all other athletes who performed the scaled version of that workout but below all athletes who performed the workout as prescribed.

*Note week 2 is a partner workout

0-9 Minutes: to establish 3 Rep Max (one athlete lifting at a time)
