About This Competition
Get ready for a fun-filled day of fitness and camaraderie at Wodtoberfest 2023!
📅 Event Date: October 28th, 2023
⏰ Time: Check-in begins at 9:00am, Event starts at 10:00am - 3:00pm
📍 Location: Like Water CrossFit, Owosso, Michigan
🅿️ Parking: On-site parking available
Divisions:
Choose your challenge with two divisions: RX and Scaled. Use your CrossFit Open division to determine which division to choose (don't expect muscle-ups though). Due to logistics and planning reasons, team divisions cannot be switched once heats are announced.
Team Registration:
Gather your team of two males and two females and secure your spot starting Monday, August 20th at 12:00pm. Registration closes on October 17th at 11:59pm to guarantee an event shirt. There will be NO refunds, however, you will be able to substitute teammates up until the event date provided it will not change your division. We get it, things come up.
Prizes:
The top three teams in each division will be take home awesome prizes.

Workout 1: Barbell Blitz
MF Pairs
21 synchronized deadlifts each pair
18 synchronized push jerks each pair
15 synchronized front squats each pair
12 synchronized power cleans each pair
9 synchronized thrusters each pair
6 synchronized power snatches each pair
3 synchronized overhead squats each pair

Workout 2: Over the Top
Male/Male & Female/Female Pairs
**Part 1:**
- 2 Rounds
Male 1 does 10 weighted step-ups while the other rows, then they switch.
Female 2 does 10 weighted step-ups while Female 2 rows, then they switch.
**Part 2:**
- Males perform 20 sandbag passes over a platform while the females row (alternate as needed).
- Females take on 20 sandbag passes over a platform while the males row (alternate as needed).
Box Height = 20 inches for all
Weights = RX (100/70lbs), Sc (70/50lbs)
Score 1 = Time, Score 2 = Calories

Teams can choose their order. Score is sum of each team member’s max lift. Each team will have one C2 bike to accumulate calories on during the 16:00. The total calories will be added to the load lifted.
