Welcome to The Extra AV Thriller Halloween Fitness Throwdown!
We are "thrilled" you want attend our Halloween functional fitness event as an Intermediate athlete. This is event is sponsored by Extra AV in association with the Texas Dynasty Challenge.
The Intermediate Division is aimed at athletes who are competent/proficient with barbell skills, but may be lacking the proficiency required for gymnastic skills.
Intermediate athletes will compete in the morning from 8 am to 12 pm.

Score is the total number of repetitions completed in the 6 minutes
Tie-Breaker is the time after completing the round of 1 Cluster + 4 Thrusters

MOVEMENT STANDARDS
Cluster
You must clean the bar to a front rack position, making sure to catch it in a squat with your hip crease below your knee. Extend upward and push the bar overhead in one smooth motion. A clean & jerk is a no rep. Finish with the bar overhead, in control, and your knees, hips, shoulders and elbows fully extended. You MAY Power Clean the barbell and then proceed into your squat with your hip crease below knee crease and then extend upward and push the bar overhead. No JERK MOTION will be allowed to finish your thruster. You may not re-dip underneath the barbell once you start the upward motion in your squat.
Thruster
The barbell will move from the bottom of a front squat to full lockout overhead. The hip crease must clearly pass below the top of the knees in the bottom position. A full squat clean into the thruster is allowed when taken from the floor. If the barbell is dropped from overhead, it must settle on the ground before the athlete picks it up for the next repetition. The rep is credited when the barbell is locked out overhead, with the hips, knees and arms fully extended, and the bar directly over the middle of the athlete’s body.

TFX Video Submission Standards:
Prior to starting, film the plates and barbell to be used so the loads can be seen clearly. All video submissions should be uncut and unedited in order to accurately display the performance. A clock or timer, with the running workout time clearly visible, should be in the frame throughout the entire workout. Shoot the video from an angle so all exercises can be clearly seen meeting the movement standards. Videos shot with a fisheye lens or similar lens may be rejected due to the visual distortion these lenses cause.
All divisions require you to submit a video link in order to submit your score.

100 single unders will be allowed to be substituted for the 25 double unders. The option will be chosen prior to the start of the workout. Once the workout starts the athlete must do the chosen movement throughout the workout.
