About This Competition

The Bucktown BattleGrounds is an inclusive celebration of fitness for everyone! With 3 divisions and heats consisting of half female identifying and half male identifying athletes, this should give anybody who is looking to get out and compete a platform to celebrate what their body can do! The competition schedule is subject to change but will begin at 9:00am and go until roughly 3:30pm. Official Schedule will be released as we get closer to the event. Registration will include a shirt as well as some registration gift bags. Don't know which division to register for, that's ok! Check out the list of movements below. All Athletes should be comfortable with the following: Running, Jumping, Burpees, Rowing, Biking RX athletes should be comfortable with at least the following in a workout setting: Barbell Clean and Jerk: 185/135 Barbell Snatch: 135/95 Barbell Front Squat: 205/145 Dumbbell Movements: 70/50 Gymnastics pulling: Muscle ups or Chest2Bar / Toes2Bar Gymnastics pushing: Handstand Pushups Jumping Rope: Double unders Intermediate athletes should be comfortable with at least the following in a workout setting: Barbell Clean and Jerk: 135/95 Barbell Snatch: 95/65 Barbell Front Squat: 155/105 Dumbbell Movements: 50/35 Gymnastics pulling: Pullups/Kipping Gymnastics pushing: Handstand Pushups with 1 abmat Jumping Rope: Double unders or Single Unders Scaled athletes should be comfortable with at least the following in a workout setting: Barbell Clean and Jerk: 95/65 Barbell Snatch: 75/55 Barbell Front Squat: 95/65 Dumbbell Movements: 25/15 Gymnastics pulling: Jumping Pullups Gymnastics pushing: Pushup to Down dog If you have any questions or are interested in volunteering for the event, reach out to us at info@chicagoelitefitness.com
