Gnarly Division

For Time

6 rds

15 Burpees

12 Box Step Overs (24"/20")

9 Power Cleans (45/35)

6 Shoulder to Overheads (45/35)

Rules:

3,2,1 go... Athelete starts with burpees, chest must touch the ground, but a step out and in is allowed. The burpee must finish with a jumping jack, where the hands clap at the top in the Rad Division, the Gnarly division, just requires a jump. After the completion of the burpees, the athlete moves onto the box plyo skiers. Only one foot can be on the box at a time, and they must hop over to the other side laterally. The gnarly division will complete step overs, either forward or laterally. Power cleans will come from the floor each rep, and the athlete must stand the barbell up fully (extend hips and knees). Shoulder to overheads can be done in any form, strict press, push press, push jerk, split jerk. The athlete must fully stand up the barbell with extended arms, hips and knees with each rep. The score is the time the athlete completes all 6 rounds. If the athlete is time capped, the tie breaker is the amount of reps completed.

Thighmaster In 10 minutes:

Complete 50/40 calories (30/20 for Gnarly) on the Assault Bike

In the remaining time, you have 3 attempts at a 3 rep max Front Squat. The most weight lifted successfully for three reps wins the workout.

Rules:

3,2,1 go... The athlete is standing with their hand on the barbell on the rig, no weights on the bar. They move to the bike to complete the 50/40/30/20 calories on the Assualt Air bike - they must stay on the bike until the calories are completed. Once they are done, they have 3 attempts at a 3 rep max front squat. The barbell must be in the front rack when squatting, either Oly style or bodybuilding style front rack holds are allowed. All three squats must travel below parallel (hip crease under knee at the bottom). If an athlete misses on depth, they can complete another rep as long as they don't re-rack the barbell. The athlete does not have to complete all three attempts. The score recorded is the highest weight successfully lifted for three repetitions. The tiebreaker is the time the calories are completed.
