Battle of the Boxes 2024
About This Competition
Join us for the 5th annual Battle of the Boxes hosted by Ocelot Strength and Conditioning!
We will have partner divisions for RX, Intermediate, Scaled, Teens, and Kids. Division standards are posted within the description of each division.
For teens and kids, the division details are posted under each team option.
*Please note that we require two teams per division for the division to make.*

Alternating Rounds:

Kids (8-9): 15 Single Unders, 10# DB Snatch, 10 Hand Release Push-Ups
Kids (10-12): Single Unders, 20/15# DB Snatch, Scaled Wall Walks
Teens (13-16): Single Unders, 25#/20# DB Snacth, Scaled Wall Walks
Scaled: Single Unders, 35#/20# DB Snatch, Scaled Wall Walks
Intermediate: Double Unders, 40#/30# DB Snatch, Wall Walks

PARTNER MAX REPS
Partner 1 will have 0:90 seconds to get as many reps as possible with their front squat. Partners will switch at the 0:90 second cap, then Partner 2 will have 0:90 seconds for max rep front squat.
Kids (8-9): 0:60 seconds each partner, Goblet Squats 10#
Kids (10-12): 0:90 seconds each partner, Barbell 45#/35#
Teens (13-16): 0:90 seconds each partner, Barbell 95#/65#
** the floater WOD will run from 9:00am to 2:00pm **
You go, I go (8:00 minute AMRAP)
Partner A will be on the rower working for max cals while Partner B works through ONE ROUND of:
3 Sandbags over Shoulder
5 Sandbag Squats
5 Box Jump Overs
Once Partner B completes their round, the partners will switch for Partner A to work through a round while Partner B rows. This will continue until the time cap of 8:00 minutes is up. Your score is your total calories on the rower AND rounds/reps.
Scaled: 80/50# Sandbag, Box Step Overs 24/20in
Intermediate: 100/75# Sandbag, Box Jump Overs 24/20in
RX: 150/100# Sandbag, Box Jump Overs 30/24in
PARTNER MAX OUT
Partner 1 has 4:00 minues to establish a ONE REP max power clean...
** then you have one minute to transition all of your equipment to the rig **
After the transition, Partner 2 has 4:00 minutes to establish a ONE REP max back squat from the rig
