SICILY THROWDOWN 2017

Il Sicily Throwdown si svolgerà presso lo stadio “G. MATRANGA”

CASTELLAMMARE DEL GOLFO( TP),

IL 30 GIUGNO E 1/2 LUGLIO 2017 .

L'evento comprenderà 300 atleti che si sfideranno in 3 giorni.

I finalisti saranno:

60 RX MEN

30 RX WOMEN

15 YOUNG MEN 18-21( 18 anni compiuti entro il 2017)*

10 YOUNG WOMEN 18-21( 18 anni compiuti entro il 2017)*

15 MASTER MEN + 35-39( 35 anni compiuti entro il 2017)*

10 MASTER WOMEN + 35-39(35 anni compiuti entro il 2017)*

15 MASTERS MEN +40-44(40 anni compiuti entro il 2017)*

10 MASTERS WOMEN +40-44(40 anni compiuti entro il 2017)*

10 MASTERS MEN +45-49(45 anni compiuti entro il 2017)*

5   MASTERS WOMEN +45-49(45 anni compiuti entro il 2017)*

Le iscrizioni sulla piattaforma “Competition Corner”  saranno aperte dal 17/02/2017 ore 8.00  al 02 Aprile 2017  ore 24.00 GMT
Per accedere alla fase finale, è necessario qualificarsi  attraverso le qualifiche  online .
Le qualifiche partiranno dal 27 MARZO 2017
QUALIFICHE:
1° WOD – dal 27 al 02 Aprile (il video e lo score deve essere postato entro le ore 24.00 del 02 Aprile)
2° WOD – dal 03 al 09 Aprile (il video e lo score deve essere postato entro le ore 24.00 del 09 aprile)
3° WOD – dal 10 al 16 Aprile (il video e lo score deve essere postato entro le ore 24.00 del 16 aprile)
 Sicily Throwdown 2017
The sicily throwdown takes place at the stadium "G. MATRANGA " CASTELLAMMARE DEL GOLFO  (TP)

The event will comprise  of 300 athletes competing over 3 days.
The registration of the platform “COMPETITION CORNER” will be open from 8am 17/02/2017 until 12pm the 02st. of April 2017
Qualifiers will be released on  MARCH 27.
QUALIFIERS:
27/03/2017 : Workout 1 Announcement at 10am
02/04/2017 : Submit scores and video for Wod 1 before 12am
03/04/2017 : Workout 2  Announcement at 10am
09/04/2017 : Submit scores and video for Wod 2 before 12am
10/04/2017 : Workout 3  Announcement at 10am
16/04/2017 : Submit scores and video for Wod 3 before 12am

 

Sicily Throwdown 2017

Per partecipare in qualsiasi fase del Sicily Throwdown ogni atleta deve accettare

tutte le regole e le condizioni poste in essere, tra cui, senza limitazione, l'Assunzione di

Rischio, e le decisioni dell’ organizzazione del Sicily Throwdown che sono definitive e vincolanti in tutti gli aspetti.

Le qualificazioni online del Sicily Throwdown saranno costituiti da 3 WOD che saranno pubblicati  sul sito ufficiale e sulla pagina FB

Gli atleti devono completare tutti e tre i WOD:

-Obbligo per tutti gli atleti e di produrre il video delle propria prestazione (per tutti e 3 i WOD)

-Il video sarà visionato dall’organizzazione del STD che darà ok alla prova, si ricorda che il giudizio finale per tutti i video visionati, dato con queste regole (1) è inappellabile.

(1) Il video è ok, se le no reps sono da 1-4. Il video è con penalità -15% se le no reps sono superiori a 5 e fino a 10. Il video non è valido se non vengono rispettati gli standard descritti nei 3 WOD di qualifica.

E’ responsabilità esclusiva dell’Atleta il caricamento sia dei risultati che dei video dei Wod, i caricamenti incompleti non saranno accettati e validati ai fini di una eventuale qualifica.

IL VIDEO

La produzione del video può essere effettuata con qualsiasi supporto è importante che sia a traccia unica non può essere ne tagliata ne montata, bisogna che l’atleta si presenti e dica chiaramente la data ed elenchi tutti gli attrezzi e le misurazioni necessarie allo svolgimento del Wod, e assolutamente indispensabile che il cronometro sia sempre dentro l’inquadratura, tutti i movimenti devono essere visibili dall’inizio alla fine e l’inquadratura deve permettere la visione ottimale degli standard richiesti. 

AVANZAMENTO

Al termine delle qualificazioni online, tutti gli atleti qualificati saranno invitati a confermare la loro partecipazione alla fase finale del  Sicily Throwdown il 30 giugno1-2 luglio 2017, tramite email e (iscrizione fase finale) entro il  __________, altrimenti si procederà ad invitate gli atleti  a scalare in ordine di classifiche.

Tutti i premi in denaro si intendono come contributo alle spese sostenute per partecipare alla gara e sono soggetti alle imposte applicabili alla fonte secondo le leggi e norme vigenti in materia.

Tutti i premi offerti dagli sponsor devono essere ritirati  dall'atleta vincente. Al termine della premiazione  è responsabilità dell'atleta vincente portarlo con se o contattare lo sponsor per un eventuale recapito a domicilio.

Sicily Throwdown 2017

To participate in any phase of Sicily Throwdown every athlete must accept all the rules and conditions, including, without limitation, the Taking  Assumption of Risk, and the decisions of the organization of Sicily Throwdown which are final and binding in all aspects.

The online qualifiers of Sicily Throwdown will consist of 3 WOD that will be released on the official website of the STD and FB

Athletes must complete all three WOD:

-It is mandatory for all athletes to produce the video of their performance (for all 3 WOD)

-The Video will be viewed by the organization of the STD that will approve the performance, please note that the final judgment for all videos viewed, with the  given rules rules (1) is unappealable.

(1) The video is ok, if no reps are between 1 and 4. The video is with penalty -15% if the reps are between 5 and 10. Video is invalid if standards described in all of the three qualifying WOD are not met.

It is athlete sole responsibility to upload both scores and  videos of qualifying wods;  incomplete scores will not be accepted and not validated for a possible qualification.

THE VIDEO

The production of the video can 'be carried out by any devices, the video must be one single track so it can NOT be cut or edited, it is necessary that the athlete is present and clearly states the date and lists all the tools and measurements needed to perform the wod, and is mandatory that the timer is always shown in the picture, all movements must be visible from start to end and the frame should allow an optimal view of the required standards.

FEED

At the end of the  online qualifying , all qualified athletes will be invited to confirm their participation to the finals of Sicily Throwdown, via email and (enrollment finals) by ____________, otherwise we will proceed to invite athletes who took lower places on rankings.

 

All cash prizes are intended as a contribution to the costs incurred to participate at the event and are subject to applicable taxes in accordance with the laws and regulations.

All prizes from sponsors must be collected by the winning athlete. At the end of the awards is the winner athlete own  responsibility to collect them or contact the sponsor for a possible home delivery.
