About This Competition
Hello all and welcome
Melanin Fitness Nation presents:
The BLACKOUT 2.0 ; An All Inclusive Fall Throwdown!
Looking to test your fitness on an individual level? We are very excited to have you join us for some fall fitness fun.
Registration will be open Saturday October 1st till December 4th scores are due December 4th by 8pm
Workouts will be released November 28th at 8 am
We can't wait to throwdown with you!
There will be two divisions male and female of:
Rx and Scaled
***Standards will be the same as the crossfit open***
Prizes will be given to the top 3 athletes in each category. We advise all athletes please have video verification ready for your workouts as proof of score.
Video submissions will be required to be eligible for top 3 prizes in all categories.
Video submissions must show the athlete at all times, show the movement standards, show the weights used, and a timer in the background. our suggestion is WODProof or wetime for apps.
Advance athletes should be able to snatch 115/75 clean 135/95 front squat 135/95 perform toes to bar, double unders, and handstand pus ups
Scaled athletes should be able to clean 96/65 snatch 75/55 front squat 95/65 perform hanging knee tucks, single unders, and hand release push ups
So many have asked why we call it the Blackout well here is the tea. This is one thing we all have to do to complete a workout sometimes that really hard or really challenging we have to blackout all that negative stuff in our mind and get it done. But hey its all for the benefit of our health. Come enjoy a virtural throwdown.
