About This Competition

The Online Qualifiers for the Kalis Games 2019 to be held on November 8-10, 2019 in Manila, Philippines. 

The Final event will have 12 Divisions: RX Male, RX Female, RX Masters Male 35-39, RX Masters Female 35-39, RX Masters Male 40+, RX Masters Female 40+, Intermediate Male, Intermediate Female, Intermediate Masters Male 35+, Intermediate Masters Female 35+, Teens 15-17 Male and Teens 15-17 Female.

The Scaled Division will be an ONLINE ONLY competition which aims to give more novice members of the community a chance to experience competition.

Registration begins on June 17, and all 3 Qualifier Workouts will be released on June 24, 2019.  Deadline for score and video submissions will be on July 15, 2019 at 11:59PM Philippine Time (GMT+8). 

WHO CAN JOIN?

Athletes from the Functional Fitness community worldwide are welcome.

VIDEO SUBMISSION

All video submissions should be UNCUT and UNEDITED in order to accurately display the performance.

Prior to starting, film the pull-up bar, plates, barbell and any other equipment to be used so the loads can be seen clearly. For the SCALED DIVISION, clear measurement for the jumping pull-ups must be shown as well.

The official Kalis Games Qualifiers Workout Timers on the WeTime App must be used throughout the entire workout.

Shoot the video from an angle so all exercises can be clearly seen meeting the movement standards.

Videos shot with a fisheye lens or similar lens may be rejected due to the visual distortion these lenses cause.

SCORING

Score validation for the Online Qualifiers is the sole right of the Assault Fitness Kalis Games. Submitted videos will be reviewed and scored by the video review panel of judges. As part of this review process, the athlete’s posted score may be accepted, modified or invalidated.

Reasons for modification or invalidation of a score include, but are not limited to:  

* Failure to follow the video submission guidelines, including recording movements from angles, distances or with lighting that do not allow judges to assess whether the movement standards are being met.

* Violation of the workout format, especially movement standards.        

* Workout attire that prevents the judge from determining whether the athlete is meeting the movement standards.

Over the course of the video, if the athlete fails to complete the workout as required, or the video does not contain the criteria listed in the video submission standards, it will be declared invalid and the athlete’s score will be rejected.

REFUND POLICY

All Online Qualifiers sales are final.  There will be no refunds under any circumstance.
