About This Competition

Welcome to the 13th annual Apollo Games!!  Join us for a co-ed team competition with one male and one female athlete, October 5, 2024 at CrossFit Apollo.

Our theme is Apollo 13 - Prepared to Launch.

This year we are AGAIN offering 3 divisions. RX, Scaled, & Beginner. We're excited to bring more opportunities for those that would like to experience a competition.

The beginner group is for those who are fairly new to CrossFit and have never competed before.

If your team is on the bubble regarding RX or Scaled we would encourage you to challenge yourself in the RX division.

Come and have a great experience competing in an exciting and supportive environment.

Registration is now live! We have a limited number of teams we can accommodate. When those spots are full we will close registration.

We need to get the shirt order in early so, to guarantee your shirt you need to register by September 5th.

Choose which division you would like to compete in based on the announced Events.

Please park at the YMCA or in the parking lot across the street. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks. We are not issuing refunds this year.  Partner substitutions have to be made at least 3 days before the event. If you are substituting a partner please keep in mind that t-shirt sizes cannot be changed.  Teams can switch divisions provided that it is at least 10 days before the event day.

****Anyone signing up after September 5th will not be able to pick their shirt style or size.  The shirt order will have already been submitted so teams after September 5th will receive a Men's L for the male athlete and a Women's M for the female athlete. ****

RX & Scaled Division

3 Minute AMRAP:

Max Double Unders

Beginner Division

Max Single Unders

Regardless of division, athletes may not perform jump ropes unless their partner is standing in a locked-out position with a sandbag of their choice.

Athletes may switch at any point.

Score = Total Double/Single Unders (depending on division) + combined weight of both partners sandbags.

For Example – Combined double unders is 210 reps. Athlete 1 lifts 100lb sandbag. Athlete 2 lifts 50lb sandbag. Score = 360 (210 + 100 + 50).

Partners do NOT have to use the same sandbag. They can choose their own individual weights. However, Once the workout has begun, athletes MUST continue to use the sandbag they started with.

If at any point an athlete holding the sandbag adjust by bending their knees or shifting their shoulders in front of or behind their hips, the partner performing jump ropes must stop and can resume once their partner is standing with sandbag in a locked-out position.

Weight options range from 35-300lbs.

Ladder 2

145lbs / 155lbs / 165lbs / 175lbs / 185lbs / 195lbs / 205lbs / 215lbs / 225lbs / 235lbs / 245lbs

Ladder 3
