SOS Throwdown Qualifiers
About This Competition
This is an individual competition where registered athletes complete qualifiers to establish which category they will compete in on the day. This ensures that they will be against athletes of similar levels and abilities.
Individual competitions are rare to attend unless you can qualify for the event, this format allows anyone to participate and then workouts will be based on the ability of the category so the athletes have a challenging day.
First 2 categories on the Saturday and the 2 categories on the Sunday.
This in-person event is taking place at Unison Fitness, 26 Balena Cl, Creekmoor, Poole BH17 7EB.

In true ASG fashion, there will be no penalty for scaling other than it will take longer to complete the movement.
You can scale all movements or just one – you don’t need to register the workout as scaled for this purpose as it will naturally take longer to complete which provides a natural difference to those who are completing as prescribed.
This means you can do the workout working skills you're capable of and scale back those you aren't as good with. You can also start the workout with one option and scale back if needed.
If you scale to Knee raises, then you need to complete 2 reps to achieve 1 point. For Single Unders every 3 reps is 1 point. Each round is therefore 50 points regardless of completing as prescribed or with the alternatives.

The whole workout is an 18 minute workout combining Skills and Drills 1-3 and Race to Finish. You can scale any of the 4 scoring elements depending on your skills and drills. When inputting the score for any you scale ensure you mark it as scaled. If you scale 1 of the workouts it does not require you to scale all of them... it is your choice how you tackle each segment of the overall workout.
