About This Competition
NEW THIS YEAR! Independence Games 2024 will a Team of 4 (M,M,F,F) competition with both Rx and Intermediate Divisions. There is no age requirement and divisions will not be separated by ages.
Hosted by Triple River CrossFit at the beautiful Pit Fitness Ranch, this team event is set up with two divisions, Rx & Intermediate.
WODs will be released prior to the event itself. Unique movements such as swimming, paddle boarding, trail running and outdoor biking have made the cut in previous years, as well as standard CrossFit® movements such as wall balls, rowing, and barbell complexes.
RX Athletes should be able to perform higher level gymnastics movements such as chest to bar pulls and/ or bar muscle ups. RX Athletes should be able to move a115/85 pound barbell for all movements.
Intermediate Athletes should be able to perform a jumping C2B or a kipping pull up as well as toes to bar or hanging knee raise. Barbell weights may be as heavy as 95/65 for any barbell movement. Additional scaling is acceptable if cleared with the judge prior, but will leave your team out of contention for a podium spot.
Be prepared to have an open-mind and workout out in the elements on our 65-acre rural property.
The cost is $300/ team. Cash and prize rewards will be given to the top three teams in each division.
