WELCOME TO the 2023 Strength Lab invitational!
The Strength Lab Invitational is BACK for its 3rd year, and is bigger and better than ever before!
A same sex pairs competition with RX and Scaled divisions. So time to grab your buddy and get ready to throwdown together on the 28th October 2023!

Workouts
23.1a
On the call of 3-2-1 go. Partner 1 has 4 mins to establish a 1 rep max Clean and Jerk.
Full standards and workout details will be released on the day.
23.1b
Immediately following 23.1A. Partner 2 has 4 mins to establish a 1 rep max Snatch.
Full standards and workout details will be released on the day.
23.2
On the call of 3-2-1 go. Both Athletes will advance to the rig and perform 42 synchronised Toes to Bar (Knee to Hip for scaled division) then will then advance to the rowers with both athletes performing 42 calories on their respective rower. Once both athletes have completed the 42 calories they will return to the rig and perform 30 synchronised Chest to Bar pull ups (Jumping chest to bar for scaled), once the athletes have performed their 30 chest to bar they will advance back to the rowers and both athletes will complete 30 calories. Once the 30 calories have been completed the athletes will return to the rig and perform 18 synchronised Bar Muscle ups (Devils Press for scaled) before returning to the rowers one final time to both complete 18 calories.
Time is taken when BOTH athletes have completed their final 18 calories.
Full Movement standards will be released on the day.
23.3
On the call of 3-2-1 go. Partner 1 will perform 3 rounds of 9 Thrusters followed by 18 Bar Facing Burpee. Once this has been completed Partner 2 can begin their 3 rounds of 18 Thrusters and 9 Bar Facing Burpee.
There is an 8minute time cap for ALL 6 rounds of work to be completed.
Full Movement standards and weights will be released on the day.
23.4
On the call of 3-2-1 go. Athlete 1 will begin their wall walks once 10 wall walks have been completed between the 2 athletes they will advance to the barbell performing 20 shoulder to over head, splitting the reps how they choose. Once the 20 STOH have been completed both athletes will move to the box to perform 30 Box Jump overs. From here the athletes will advance to the dumbbell and perform 40 Dumbell Snatch before moving to the Echo Bike and performing 50 calories.
Athletes may choose to split (or not) the repetitions how ever they choose and may not advance to the next movement until all previous reps have been completed.
Full Movement standards and weights will be released on the day.
