About This Competition
2022 FITC COMBINE # 2 - LEICESTER - MIXED PAIRS
We are excited to launch our second UK Pairs Fittest in the City Season at XINX Fitness in Leicester.
The Turf Games Fittest in the City Pairs COMBINE is a pairs competition where athletes will compete in 4 back to back workouts across a 'COMBINE', testing various aspects of their fitness in a fun, fast paced, competition style format. The top ranked teams from each event will qualify for FINALS DAY in December '22.
DATES + TIMES
Saturday 12th March from 11am
The 'COMBINE' will be a MIXED PAIRS competition,
- 1 Male / 1 Female athlete in each pair
There will be two Divisions of competition -
- Open Athletes
- Elite Athletes
The first heat will start at 11.20pm, with the last heat starting at 16.50pm.
Your heat start time will be provided to you minimum one week before the event. You will not be required for the full duration of the afternoon. You will complete 4 x 10 minute time capped workouts with a 5 minute break in between each workout - taking a total 55 minutes. For example, if your start time is 2pm - workout 1 will be 2pm, workout 2 - 2.15pm, workout 3 - 2.30pm and workout 4 - 2.45pm. You should arrive minimum 30 minutes before your heat start time to warm up and get ready to hit the TURF. You can leave once your heat is finished. If you win, you will be notified via email/Instagram
COST
Entry - The cost is £80 per pair (£40/athlete). All pairs will receive an exclusive pair of TG socks and products from some of our partners.
Any weight or movements that we stipulate (like DBs, KBs etc) will be appropriate to that level - see below link for guidance and more information on the format including example workouts. Each workout will be judged and will have scores on our LIVE! Leaderboard. By the end of the day, winners will be crowned across each of the categories above and they will represent Manchester at our FINALS DAY in December '22.
