The Arena Together Edition 2024 returns to Amsterdam with renewed energy. This event is aimed at TEAMS OF 2 ATHLETES!

ALL IN ONE EVENT

One team, one experience., one day All together!

Why together! Simple. We want all participating Athletes from one local gym to compete together. All together on the same day as one big team accompanied by fans, friends and family. Coaches can be present for each athlete regardless of the fitness level without giving up the whole weekend! While volunteers can join the fun and tag along.

This format has resonated within many CrossFit Boxes both in The Netherlands and abroad. So join us and celebrate fitness. This is the beginning of a great experience and will be a blast. So sign up today..!

We have again challenging Qualifiers and a great Final event.

The Qualifier fee is € 35 per team. A final ticket costs € 89 per team.

ALL FITNESS LEVELS

The Arena Together Edition is a competition for teams of 2 athletes designed for all fitness levels! We have multiple divisions and age groups,

NUMBER OF TEAMS PER CATEGORY

A total of 240 spots are available for the finals. The number of Teams per category is as followed:

*Age groups may be added and final selection quota may vary based on number of registrants per division.

AGE GROUPS AND DIVISIONS

Participants compete in the following divisions:

Seniors 18+: FF/MM/FM 

Masters 70+: FF/MM/FM - Combined age of both teammates is 70 or higher

Masters 90+: FF/MM/FM - Combined age of both teammates is 90 or higher

FINAL EVENT DETAILS

The Final Location will be Sporthallen Zuid in Amsterdam, part of the Olympic District. The Final Event will be held on April 21st

WHAT IS MY IDEAL SKILL LEVEL?

SCALED

Athletes able to perform WOD’s which include jumping pull up’s, single unders, knee raises and lift weights overhead with a maximum of 40/25 kg

ADVANCED

Athletes able to perform most of the Benchmark WOD’s able to perform kipping pull ups, toes to bars, double unders and lift weights overhead with a maximum of 60/45 kg.

RX

Athletes with good understanding of movement standard skills and able the complete benchmark workouts which include chest to bar pull ups, single muscle ups and lift weights overhead with a maximum of 70/55 kg. 

ELITE

Athletes with competition experience are able to perform workouts which include hand stands walks, (ring and bar) muscle up’s, (strict) handstand push-ups, pistol squats and all Olympic lifts.

CELEBRATE FITNESS

The Arena Throwdown is an all inclusive fitness event for all age groups and fitness levels. We aim to create events with impact that strikes the imagination.

RULEBOOK HIGHLIGHTS

AGE GROUPS ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible to compete in an age group both team members must exceed the minimum age together  on the day of the final weekend. Older Athletes may participate in younger age groups. Senior Athletes must be 18+ on the final day.

CONFIRMATION DEADLINE

Selected Teams have until March 30th 23:59hr to purchase their ticket for the final. If we have not received your confirmation, we will assume that you are not ready to join the Finalists at this time. Subsequently we will issue your final ticket to one of the athletes on our back up list.

FEES

Registration fees cannot be refunded. From the moment we begin to organize an event we start to incur costs. Most of our venue costs are paid prior to the actual Finals. So Qualifying fees are used for event set up, marketing, deposits and equipment rental. A final ticket can be swapped into a spectator ticket in case of injury or other situation. This is to the sole digression of the organization. The organization is not liable for other expenditures of any kind.
