BEGINNERS ON SATURDAY NOV 26TH 
INTERMEDIATE & RXD ATHLETES SUNDAY NOV 27TH

 

Refund Policy:

No refunds. Substitutions allowed.

 

What to bring:

Your buddy - it is a partnered competition after all
Gazebo - not much shade to hang out between heats
Chair - camp variety, not your couch
Chalk - will also be sold at the event
Water - we do have one fountain but it may get crowded
Skipping rope

 

Parking:

Please park on the service road for the day. We need the front and rear carparks for the event.

16min AMRRAP

BUY IN: 1200m each

THEN in the remaining time:

30 Row Calories

30 Dumbbell Snatch

30 Pull ups

 

Workout Flow:

At 3,2,1 go.. both athletes complete the 1200m run (2x 600m loops).

Once the first athlete returns they can begin their amrrap in the remainder of the 16 minute time cap.

ROW CALORIES
All divisions will ROW 30 CALORIES. You can swap in and out teammates as needed, rower must display 30 CALORIES before moving onto the dumbbell.

DUMBBELL SNATCH
Beginners - 10/15kg
Intermediate - 15/22.5kg
RxD - 22.5/30kg
Alternating arms and no dropping the dumbbell. 

PULL UPS
Beginners: Ring rows
Feet beneath rings and hips open at all times. Ring height can be adjusted. A full rep is considered complete when the arms reach full extension and rings touch the athletes torso.

Intermediate: Pull ups
Kipping, butterfly or strict will count as long as arms are straight and chin goes over the bar.

RxD: Chest to bar pull ups
Arms straight and body to make contact below the collarbone at the top of the repetition.

Teams will score 2 SEPERATE SCORES:
- Event 2 - total ski erg calories in 8 mins
- Event 3 - total clean and jerk reps in 8 mins

Workout Flow:

Athlete A will ski 2 minutes for max calories whilst Athlete B completes max reps of clean and jerks. At the 2 minutes mark, both athletes rest for 30 secs then swap so at 2:30 Athlete A completes 2 minutes of max clean and jerk reps while Athlete B is on the ski erg.

Each Athlete will complete 2 rounds of each piece of equipment. The total workout time is 9mins 30secs.

Workout Flow:

Athlete A will ski 2 minutes for max calories whilst Athlete B completes max reps of clean and jerks. At the 2 minutes mark, both athletes rest for 30 secs then swap so at 2:30 Athlete A completes 2 minutes of max clean and jerk reps while Athlete B is on the ski erg.

CLEAN AND JERK
Beginners - 30/40kg
Intermediate - 40/60kg
RxD - 55/80kg

10min AFAP

Beginners
50 bike cals
100 KB swings 12/16kg
150 burpees onto plate

Intermediate
50/60 bike cals
100 KB swings 16/24kg
150 double unders

RxD
50/70 bike cals
100 KB swings 24/32kg
150 double unders on an RX drag rope

 

Workout Flow:

At 3,2,1 go.. athletes will complete the workout as fast as possible. You can swap in and out teammates as needed throughout the workout. The bike must display 50/60/70 CALORIES before moving onto the kettlebell.

Workout Flow:

Each team will have 5 mins to warm up followed by 1 min to deload the bar and restack the plates.

Each team then moves to the lifting square and has 5 mins to record a 1rm Snatch.

The event finishes with 1 min to deload the bar and restack the plates.
