About This Competition

A year ago, we re-branded the gym and took over as owners. No better way than to throw an inaugural compeition. This year, we are back, except we are throwing an individual comp this time.

Workouts

For Time:

Max Effort overhead Sandbag static hold

Men Rx and Scaled weight= 60lb

Women Rx and Scaled weight= 40lb

Last athlete standing wins and advances

Each athlete will complete a thruster ladder of 9-6-3 

For Time:

9-6-3

Women's Scaled:

55/65/75

Men's Scaled:

65/75/95

**Each athlete will run (4) 10m shuttle runs in between sets and to the finish. 

Score= Time it takes to finish workout. 

12 Min AMRAP:

5 Dumbbell Box Get Overs (35's/25's)

3 Deadlifts (185/155)

2 Rope pulls (seated position to standing position = 1 rep)

For Time:

800m Ruck Run (30/20) (5:00/5:30 min cap buy-in)

-then-

3 Rounds of (no ruck):

15 Front Rack Sandbag Squats (60/40)

50 Single unders

-then-

800m Ruck Run (30/20)

***Score = Time it takes to complete the workout. If the athlete fails to make the time cap in the buy-in run, athlete will not advance to complete the workout. That athletes score will be the time it took to run the 800m. Placement will be determinded by time for those athletes. 

Score= Time it takes to complete workout. (18/20 min cap)

Each athlete will have 60 seconds to successfully clean (muscle, squat or power) the current weight on the barbell. Weight will increase 10 pounds per round.

Men's RX starting weight: 155 lbs

Men's Scaled starting weight: 95 lbs

Women's RX starting weight: 135 lbs

Women's Scaled starting weight: 55 lbs
