2022 Never Forgotten Games
About This Competition
The Never Forgotten Games is a functional fitness event held in Northern California, hosted by the Redding Peace Officers’ Association, a 501(c) non-profit organization. Teams of 4 compete in four hero WODs designed in the names of four first responders who’ve died in the line of duty.
The families and agencies associated with the fallen first responders are invited to the event and get to experience first hand, the level of support our community can provide.
Divisions: (Four person teams)
- 50 total RX teams (all male, all female, co-ed -2 female/2 male)
- 10 Masters teams (160+ Years of age combined between all members of the team. Co-ed - can be 2 female/2 male, 3 female/1 male, or 3 male/1 female)
- 10 Elite teams (co-ed- 2 female/2 male)
Structure: 4 scheduled main events with 1 floater
This year we have partnered with Born Primitive fitness apparel.
The event will be held on July 9th, 2022 at the Redding Civic Auditorium. Workouts will be released one at a time; starting one month before the event.
***We're excited that you're going to compete at our competition! Please note that all sales are final (no refunds), but you can transfer your ticket to another athlete in the event that you are unable to compete for an unexpected reason.***
The Never Forgotten Games is ran entirely by donated time and money. The proceeds raised by the event are donated to the Northern California Chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors, 555 Firefighter Fitness, and several local youth programs.

11 Sandbag over the shoulder 150/100#
*Team will start behind the start/finish line. On 3-2-1-GO, the first teammate will move to the Axle Bar and begin workout. After completing the workout, the team member will run back to the start/finish line and tag in the next teammate. Time stops after the last teammate crosses the finish line.

*Run is approximately 400 meters on designated course.

*Teams will start behind start/finish line. On 3-2-1-GO two teammates of your chosing (opposite sex if coed) will move to the axle bars and start the first half of the workout. After the frist two teammates complete the first half of the workout, they will run to the finish line and tag in the next two teammates. The last two teammates will complete the second half of the workout then run passed the finish line where time will stop.

*Workout is completed waterfall style. Team will start behind starting line. On 3-2-1-GO, the first teammate will move to the rings and begin the workout. Once the first teammate finishes the rings, the next teammate can begin. Time stops when the last teammate crosses the finish line.
