Calling all Athletes in the Texas area! Are you ready to test you limits and showcase your skills? Join us for an exhilarating day of competition where we"ll crown the King and Queen of the Third Coast!
THIS IS AN INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION
Date: Saturday, May 3rd 2025
Location: Neptune Fitness 1001 2nd Street Corpus Christi, Tx.
Time: 6:00AM-4:00PM
This is an indoor and outdoor event that will take place, ran or shine!
This functional fitness competition is designed for Athletes of all levels, from seasoned competitors to those looking to challenge themselves in a supportive environment. Prepare to engage in a series of dynamic workouts that will test your strength, push your endurance and agility to the max!

Fun and Challenging workouts: Get ready for a variety of functional fitness workouts that will test you physical and mental toughness.
Exciting Atmosphere: Compete alongside fellow Athletes and cheer each other on as you strive for greatness!
Prizes and Recongnition: Compete for the coveted titles of King and Queen of the Third Coast, along with awesome prizes and bragging rights! (Cash Prizes for the Rx M/F 1st place finishers) (Podium finishes will receive swag bag and medal)

Prerequisites:
Rx: Complete ALL CF Open Workouts as CFHQ Rx standards. (all ages)
Masters 40+: Complete ALL (or most) Open workouts as CFHQ Rx standards. (**Age 40+ on or befoe 1985, MUST HAVE ID AT CHECK-IN**)
Intermediate: Complete ALL (or most) Open workouts as CFHQ Rx standards.
Scaled: Complete ALL (or most) Open workouts as CFHQ Scaed standards.

Movment Standards:
Shuttle Runs: The athlete will start behind the cone with one hand touching the top of the cone. On the count of 3,2,1 Go! The athlete will run from the starting cone to the next cone which will be 50ft in distance (1 50ft shuttle = 1 Rep). The athletes body must go completely around the cone, they will continue this process until the athlete has completed their set amount of shuttles.
Snatch: Upon the completion of the final shuttle run the athlete will approach their barbell and preform a Snatch. The bar will start on the ground and the rep will be credited when the bar is over head with the elbows, hips and knees COMPLETELY LOCKED out!
Part A, AMRAP: Snatch for max effort reps
Part B, For Time: The combined time of all three shuttle runs will be added for a over all time!
FAILURE TO COMPLETE THESE STANDARDS WILL RESULT IN A NO REP!

Movement Standard for all Division:
Front Squats: On the count of 3,2,1... GO! The athlete will clean the bar into the front rack positon and preform their set number of front squats at their set weight for the appropriate division. The rep is redited whe the athlete squats below parallel and stand completly at the top with knees and hips locked out.
Burpees Over the Bar: Upon the completion of the final front squat the athlete will then work on their burpees over ther bar. These are lateral burpees of the bar. The rep will be credited when the athletes chest and thighs touch the ground and then jump over the bar with a two foot take off! Scaled athletes can step over the bar!
Penalty: If the bar is dropped during the front squats the athlete will preform 3 burpees over the bar. These will NOT count to thier total number they need to complete.

Movement Standards:
Double Unders: On the count of 3,2,1 GO, the athlete will work through 75 Doubles(Masters and Int 60, Scaled 100 Singles). The reps will be credited when the rope clearly passes twice (once for Scaled) under the athletes feet.
Chest to Bar: Upon the completion of their last Double Under, the athletes will aproach their designated spot on the rig and preform 15 Chest To Bar Pullups (Masters 12, Int 12 Chin Over the Bar Pull Ups, Scaled Jumping Pull Ups). The rep will be credited when the athletes chest (any where between the collarbone and nipple line) clearly touches the bar ( Int and Scaled Chin Over the Bar).
Box Jump Overs: Upon the completion of the final C2B the athletes will move to their designated box and preform 15 Box Jump Overs (24in for the Men and 20in for the Women). The rep will be credited when the athlete preforms a two foot take off, both feet touching to top of the box and the athlete stepping down to the opposite side (Scaled Step Up and Overs). Up and completely over is 1, up and completely over is 2.
Deadlift: Upon the completion of the final BJO, the athlete will approach their designated barbell and preform 15 Deadlifts 225/155 (12 Masters and Int 205/145, Scaled 135/95). The rep will be credited when the athlete stands the bar up, completly locking out the knees and hips with the shoulders behind the bar.
Toes to Bar: Upon the completion of the final Deadlift the athlete will again go to thier designated spot on the rig and preform 15 Toes to Bar (12 Masters and Int, Scaled Hanging Knee Raises). The rep will be credited when the athletes toes clearly touch the bar and the feet clearly come back, behind the rig (Scaled when knees come above parallel and feet come back, behind the rig).
AMRAP: Once the athlete has completed all the reps and movements for their divison, they will go back to the top a repeat the same process until the time (12 minutes) expires.
Failure to complete these standards for any division will result in a NO REP.
