About This Competition

The Battle Series is back! We are rolling out a new series to provide flexibility for athletes and gyms in the midst of the COVID-19 Pandemic. The need for our warriors continues and this is a way you can help support Everyday warriors battling cancer. 

Our founder, Brittany Gill, created the Battle Series as a way to rally community and raise money to alleviate the financial impact cancer has on families in the CrossFit community. Each workout programmed into the series is purposefully tough - your participation is a way to honor those that have fought and continue to fight for their lives every day. Brittany passed away in 2014, and is the original Everyday Warrior. Her vision continues to drive our mission forward and each year, we increase our goals to carry on her legacy.

Through the dedication of gyms, partners, and supporters like you, we've provided financial assistance to more than 55 Warriors across the country! If you're following our journey, you've seen us share many of these inspiring stories. We've been able to cover anything from hospital bills to rent payments, and provided hope to families during a difficult season.

The theme of this year's Battle Series is Hope is Here. We want our Warriors - and the fitness communities that support them - to feel a renewed sense of hope! At Everyday Warrior, we believe that we don't fight alone, and this is our opportunity to prove it by supporting more Warriors than ever before.

In order to do this, we've added a new element this year. In addition to participating in the series, gyms will also compete in a fundraising competition. The top three gyms with the largest amount raised will receive prizes, bragging rights, and the coveted Everyday Warrior banner.

We have some big goals this year and we can't do it without you!

Divisions Age groups: 16-17, 18-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+

Workouts

  • We have changed the format to allow for added flexibility for athletes and gyms during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
  • We will be releasing three workouts from August 3-7. Scores will be do August 24 at 5:00PM.
  • Workouts can be completed in the gym or at home.
  • Each workout will be programmed for Rx and Scaled Athletes. The scaled workout is designed to be more accessible. Each week, you can choose the level of workout that’s right for you.
  • Workouts must be completed RX and in a Box to qualify for the top prize. 

Movement Standards

  • The movement/weight standards will be consistent with the 2019 CrossFit Open.
  • The Masters Division will follow the Masters 45-55+ movement standards.

Registration

  • $55 includes a t-shirt
  • Individuals can continue to register all the way up to when scores are due on Monday, August 24.

Not Competing? T-Shirt Merchandise info!

  • For those who are not competing, but still want to support the cause. T-shirts will be available for purchase through the Competition Corner merchandise store.
    Please note a t-shirt is included in the registration fee.

Do I need to register my affiliate?
No, you will just manually type in your affiliate name. Please type the full name of your affiliate!

What to do if you’re having score submission issues? 
Late scores will not be accepted. However, if you are having issues submitting your score email battleseries@everyday-warrior.org before the score submission deadline.

Where do I submit my score?
You can submit your scores by logging into your account with Competition Corner.

Can I repeat the WOD and enter a new score? 
Yes, as long as you enter the score prior to the deadline. 

How can I change my t-shirt size and mailing address? 
Please email your changes to battleseries@everyday-warrior.org

When will I receive my t-shirt?
We will have three cutoff dates.  These are dependent on when you sign up for the Battle Series. Please see the dates below and the shipping time window. Once your order is ready to be shipped you will receive an email with shipping information. For example, the 1st order date is June 22. On July 7 orders will be shipped and should arrive in 2-5 business days. If you have any questions regarding your shirt please email battleseries@everyday-warrior.org
